Cassidy: It didn't take long to walk through the last of the woods. I paused once I reached the last tree, and looked over at rowan. A glint of anticipation in my eyes. "You ready?"

Sam: I saw the worry on her face, and put my glass down, and went back over to her. "Relax, I was joking. I carried you up because you fell asleep watching the tv."

"Yes," I said, managing to feel both excited and nervous at the same time. What if they kicked us out? And what if they didn't, and I really, really liked staying there, and I decided to leave my parents? Both situations were daunting, but the second one held far more appeal. Maybe in a few years, I could stay there. I wished I could go now.

Cassidy: I grinned, and looked back at the mansion. Taking it all in again, this time through human eyes. "Come on then." I walked towards the door, glancing over my shoulder to check whether Rowan was following. Once I reached the door I paused, and took a deep breath. Trying to calm my nerves. Then I knocked.

Sam: I smiled a little and pulled her into a hug. "No your not, because that wasn't sarcasm. But it's only your second day, you'll get the hang of it."

I waited anxiously for the reply as Cassidy knocked, standing so close behind her, I felt a little awkward. I backed up to give her space, but leaned eagerly forward. I concentrated on all my powers as a luck-bringer - a smaller aspect of being a rain-singer - and accidentally calling a few drops of rain from the mostly cloudless sky. Finally, the door creaked open.

Sam: I nodded. "It's hard to explain. Anyway, do you want any breakfast?"

Cassidy: My smile widened when the door opened a little. So I took the handle and opened it enough for us to be able to see inside. I was expecting to see someone there. Or at least someone walking away. Otherwise how did the door open. I glanced over my shoulder at Rowan. "Did you open the door?" Because I didn't, and it didn't look like someone from inside did.

"No," I said. "I was behind you the whole time. This is weird. Or it could be magic." I flashed her a smile and stepped past her, walking into the mansion.

It was dimly-lit and cool inside. Nobody was in the room we came in to, but muffled noises came from other places - conversations, laughter, etc. - and strange flashes of light periodically lit the room. I looked around in awe. So this was the mansion. I had always wondered... it even exceeded some of my expectations (though, seeing as I used to amuse myself by imagining various interiors, it couldn't quite surpass all of my fantasies).

Cassidy: I rolled my eyes, then realised he could be right. There was probably witches and warlocks here, maybe one of them opened it with magic. I shrugged a little, then followed him inside. "Whoa..." I whispered as I slowly spun round in a circle, taking everything in. This place was cool. Unlike anything I'd imagined. And I was surprised at how few people there were. I could hear them all, with my wolf senses, and there didn't seem as many as I thought. There was still a lot though. Just by listening, I could tell the kitchen was through the door on our right, and if you went straight forward then left and through a door it lead outside. And there was a music room, up stairs, nearly right above us.

I laughed at Cassidy's excitement, and started forward into the room. I examined the walls, which were covered in oldish-looking artwork, depicting all sorts of fantastical creatures. I looked for an image of a rain-singer, but none was there.

Oh yeah sure. I've only got Tonks who isn't doing anything though, so I kinda feel sorry for them.

Tonks: I got bored of hanging around in my room, so I decided to head downstairs. I could do with some food or something. Maybe I'd even run into Tyler. After pulling a cardigan on, I left my room, slamming my door behind me. Or maybe I'd run into Sam. God I hoped not, I was in a bad enough mood already. I jogged down the stairs, pausing at the sight of two kids, who were looking around as if they were stood in some art museum. "Great." I muttered under my breath. And the girl looked at me, realising they weren't alone. I nodded a greeting, and lent against the wall. "New guys I'm guessing." Well it was pretty obvious the way they were acting.

Cassidy: I nodded, and smiled a little. "Yeah, err I'm Cassidy."
