And now James was being all touchy-feely, but I felt like his apology was genuine so I hugged him back, running my fingers through his hair comfortingly. As he mentioned taking care of my head, I shuddered a little. I wasn't pretty sure he was talking about using spirit and I wasn't sure what scared me the most: the magic itself or what it would do to him. "No, no. It's ok, I'll be fine." I answered quickly before letting out a sigh and kissing his hair. "I forgive you, just... Take it easy. I don't want anything bad happening to you." Pulling back, I gestured to the coffee again. "Drink up, drunken monkey. It'll make you feel better... In theory..." If not, he'd just have to deal with the hangover all day.

Kelly blushed a little, but laughed it off. 'Don't worry, I always look my best.' She replied, waving a goodbye to us before leaving the coffee shop. Alone for a moment, I gave Rose another, deeper kiss, then slipped my hand into her's, squeezing it gently. "So, are you ready to go for a walk?" I asked her, pressing a kiss to her knuckles. "Is there anywhere in particular you'd like to go or should we just wander around aimlessly?"

James looked at her and smiled gently before grabbing his coffee again and taking a sip "Are you sure about your head? If it turns into a bump i'm going to do something about it." he said, looking at her "I know how you are when it comes to magic. I just dont like that I hurt you. Even if it wasnt intentionally." it hurt him to hurt her by mistake and he wanted to fix it, though, he had to follow maria's wishes when it came to spirit.

Ok, it was definitely the effect that Spirit had on James that scared me the most. As much as the use of magic terrified me, seeing the desperate need to help me, even at the expense of his own sanity, terrified me more. "James, don't use Spirit on something so minor as a potential bump on my head. I know you mean well, and I love you for that, but you're magic... It all adds up in the end; all the little uses here and there go towards having a big effect on your mental state so please, don't waste it on unimportant things. I'll be fine, it's just a bump." I shrugged it off like it was no big deal, hoping James would see that it really was no big deal. I knew he was only trying to show that he cared for me, but Spirit came at a price that I was not willing to pay yet, and James shouldn't be do willing to pay it either.

*Walks inside, trying to keep a calm face as she closes the door behind her.* Oh, it's nothing, really. *Sits on the bed, drawing out the wait for a little longer. She shrugs, then says,* Just that you might not be the only mommy in the family in the near future. *The calm expression dissolves into a beaming grin, her tail wagging back up forth and messing up the papers a little.*

Of course I told Kyle, I need to ask him- Wait a sec. Wait, no, I'm not pregnant yet! I will be soon, but right now Kyle and I have come to the decision to start trying for a baby which is, like, a dream come true X3 Don't worry, I'll still tell Jack about it, and I'll tell Luna to expect a baby cousin within the next year! I'm just so excited X3

Probably not as good as you and Jack, but we'll try ^_^ *Her tail stops wagging, her ears lowering slightly.* I'm a little worried about Kyle, though; he agreed to it, but he seemed terrified. It's not as if I'm asking him to give up his band or anything, I just... I dunno, maybe it's just nerves, maybe it'll pass eventually.

"believe me, it's completely normal. When Jack asked me to adopt Luna, I was terrified too." She smiled and ran a hand through her hair. "Listen, that the way every new parent is. You two will be fine. You guys are a great aunt and uncle to Luna after all."
