How could I stay mad at someone who was trying to make it up to me? Especially when his efforts involved allowing me to relax? I murmured a soft, "Ok," and, assuming Iames knew where things where, I returned to the couch, grabbing the tv remote and switching it on. About 5 minutes later, there was a knock at the door, and it opened before I even had the chance to answer it. 'Hey, Maria!' I was met by the light brown eyes of Laura, a big grin on her face. 'I figured we could go-' for a moment I thought she'd seen the sheer terror on my face at her sudden prescence, but she was staring past me. I didn't need to turn around to know what she had spotted, her shocked expression said it all. 'What the what?!' It was then that my mind kicked into gear and I lunged up from the couch and crossed the room to my friend. "Not a word to anyone, on?" 'I thought you said you decided against dating your Romeo guy! What the frilly hell is going on?!' She countered, not paying attention to my words. "I know, I know, and I really am sorry for lying, but I just- the less people that know the better, ok? Don't tell anyone. If so much as a whisper reaches my parents, I'll be in huge trouble!' Laura bit her lip for a moment, looking me in the eyes. After a minute, she ran a hand through her dirty blonde hair and sighed. 'Alright, your secret's safe with me, I promise.' I exhaled all of my relief, sagging slightly as my tension started to ease. And then I realized something. "Wait, what're you doing here?" I asks her, raising an eyebrow. 'Oh! Right! I came to see if you wanted to go walking but, uh, clearly you're busy.' Laura gave a little wave over my shoulder to James, to which I facepalmed. That facepalm turned into a groan when she then whispered, 'Can I meet him?'
((Sorry if it's a bit bleh on details and stuff, I'm just trying to create a wee bit of drama.))

*Finally finishes 2 of the 4 books Luna go from the library after what seemed like a century of aggrivatingly slow reading from the little girl.* Another? F*** no, not tonight. You can read another tomorrow with your parents but we're done for now. Besides, you should probably be going to bed now, so go and grab a drink and a light snack and we'll head upstairs, ok? *Frowns a little but nods.* Ok... *Hops off of Abby's lap and heads into the kitchen.* *Gathers up the books and stands, smiling a little to herself before joining Luna to make sure she didn't break anything or make a mess.*

I think it's just a matter of being able to catch them and keep them in his mouth, I'll get him some meal worms tomorrow since they'll be easier for him to eat, and if he still doesn't I'll take him to a vet.

I think these crickets are too big for him to swallow at the minute. So yeah, mealworms for him to build up his strength again then back to crickets. I can't believe I just picked them up for him, and he wasn't even able to keep them in place.
