*Nods her head in understanding.* You do seem a lot more emotional nowadays. You're more easily swayed by different feelings and let them overpower you. I guess, in a way, it's kinda like me, except only my anger is affected. Why do I feel like this is turning into some sort of therapy session? O.o Shut up, Jason, I'm trying to be serious here -_-

*mutters* Because I probably need one. And I sometimes get overwhelming feelings of happiness, but it's quite rare and isn't really caused by people who are close to me in person. My happiness seems to stem from others' too which... Isn't great but I guess that's kinda why I do try to make others happy, and because I feel like they deserve to be. I don't get why o don't allow myself to feel like that though. More often than not, people's words and actions affect me more than I let on when they do it initially. I often over think, usually "I was only trying to help, but I seemed to just make things worse." Plus the stess from school isn't helping and I still need to figure out if I am going to go to the Wakefield College or not and whether I'll be moving in with Lisa or not. Another concern of mine is my grandad. I honestly don't know how much longer he's going to be here and that thought terrifies me. It brings on more emotions and worries. For example, if he does end up... Passing before I enrol in the school, would Lisa and Joe still stay in that house? The whole reason they moved in there was to look after my grandad, after all. And if they do move away, would I still be able to live with her? Where would she be living? Would I still be able to go to the same college then? The questions just get too much sometimes and it's just really scary to think about. And sorry I've been going on for ages, I just really needed to get this off my chest and I feel like I'm bothering you so... Yeah, sorry :/

*Raises his hands in surrender.* I mean no harm! Geez, testy women! *Rolls his eyes a little.* *Is about to threaten Jason but is suddenly hugged by Sora. She tenses in shock.* I ate another cookie, Abby ^_^ O.o Ok, uh, good for you? *Sits down next to Abby.* There weren't any cookies left for you, I'm sorry *Eases, but only slightly.* That's ok. I don't eat cookies anyway. *Turns to face Scampi.* Look, Scampi, I can't help with the whole granddad thing, but you'll have to talk to your sister about what would happen if he were to pass, if you're worried about if you'd still be able to live with her. As for not letting yourself feel happy... I don't mean this as an insult, but do you think it could be because, deep down, you feel as if you don't deserve it for some reason?

I have actually thought that quite often if I'm being honest. I just don't know why I feel as if I don't deserve it.

*Smiles sadly.* I guess that's one thing we have in common, kinda. Isn't it meant to derive from low self esteem or something? I thought low self esteem was all about thinking you're not pretty. *Shakes her head.* It's much deeper than than. Also, feeling like you don't deserve happiness can be linked to depression, so maybe you do need a therapist? I was given an  'Overcoming low self-esteem' book today. I dunno if I'll read it, but if I do, I'll let you know if I find anything useful. Scampi's not happy? *Gets up and runs over to Scampi.* Hugs make people happy! *Opens her arms but waits until she has permission to hug Scampi.*

Abby wants to be a mommy? Well, that's interesting... Holland kind of wants to be a mother too, probably a bit more than she lets on. Then again, she's older.

And Scampi, if you're worried about your parents worrying over you seeing a therapist, don't be. When I brought up therapy... They were a little mad because I hadn't actually told them I was starting to see a therapist, but then afterwards they seemed pretty relieved that I was going People shouldn't be worried when they hear their kid is going to therapy. They should see that as, yes, their kid has problems, but that kid's going to get it fixed so that they, and the people around them, can have a better life, y'know?

And can we please lea-Wait, Holland wants to be a mom, too? Like, seriously, this is a serious decision she's made, not an 'I wonder what it'd be like' thing? O.o

I just don't know how I'd bring it up though... I mean, I'd probably talk to Lisa first and then mum. Idk about dad though. It just... It's a really sensitive subject how do you even find a therapist?

I went to a clinic, but you'd probably have to go to your doctor or whatever and they'll talk to you and send you to a therapist if they think you need it. *Shrugs.* I'm not gonna lie and say it's easy telling your parents that you think you need therapy, but they'll come to terms with it eventually, it might just take some time to wrap their heads around it.

Talk to your doctor, there might be a clinic, but it might hidden away. I walked past my clinic at least once every two weeks and didn't know it was there until a friend pointed it out to me.

What do you mean "talk to my doctor" I don't have a doctor :/ I mean there's a medical centre kinda thing but I don't have a specific doctor or anything :/

Then go and talk to a doctor at the medical centre? All the mental health stuff is linked to the NHS so they'll be able to point you in the right direction.
