Robyn didn't wake me up today, dreams about losing my record deal because I was fat woke me up. I'd been struggling with my appearance ever since I gave birth to Robyn and even though I had kept it a secret from the other members of the family, now it was really starting to affect me. Getting up, I changed into a bra and some underwear, then walked into the closet, looking into the mirror at my body. I pointed out several flaws almost straight away. Fat thighs, a tubby stomach, deep purple stretch marks around my stomach that moved around to my sides, dark circles under my eyes from lack of sleep, the stupid little freckles that only really appeared during the summer time. I just didn't feel pretty anymore. I didn't even feel average. Feeling tears well up in my eyes, I closed the closet door and sat on the little bench, my head in my hands as I tried to cry silently so that Tyler didn't realise something was up. If he found out, he'd probably just think I was being stupid anyway.

Tyler: Feeling Bex leave my side caused me to wake up. I opened one eye as she put underwear on and headed into the closet. She didn't come out though. Instead, the door closed and I heard muffed, very quiet cries. I frowned bwfore getting up, pulling on some clean boxers amd jeans from yesterday. I knocked gently on the door, opening it slowly, frowning at the sight of my wife. I pulled her into a hug without speaking and stroked her hair gently.

Oh gosh, and now Tyler new I was upset! It was just making matters worse because I hadn't wanted him to see me like this, neither crying nor in just my underwear. Even I wanted nothing more than to just cuddle into him and cry until I ran out of tears, the fact that my husband could see my horrible body overtook my brain, making me pull away so that I could pull on some jeans and a baggy jumper to hide myself. "I-I'm fine." I lied - could you really call it a lie, though, when it was so obvious it was a bad one? -, trying to pull myself together and wiping away my tears. "I just... I-It's just hormones, that's all..." I glanced in the mirror briefly, then had to look away before I started crying again. I looked even worse now. All my fat was covered, but the messy hair and the red puffy eyes; I wanted to break the full-length mirror that I used to love, just so that I didn't have to look at myself anymore...
