"Nice try, Lucy. You'll do better next time." I quickly took my shot, managing to get a strike - I kinda felt guilty about doing so well when Lucy was failing - before hugging Lucy from behind as she was about to take her go, pressing a kiss to her shoulder and breathing in her scent. "Want me to help, Lucy? Or would you like to keep trying by yourself?" I murmured against her shoulder, trying to hide a slight smirk that was threatening to break free.

Lucy: When Demitri knocks down all of the pins, I am simply dumbfounded. How could he do that so easily?! I smile at Demitri and turn around in his arms again. "Maybe I could use a little bit of help..." I give Demitri a quick kiss on the cheek and then reach for the same pink-ish purple ball that I'd had first because it had cycled through the machine. "Show me?" I smile at Demitri.

How could I say no when she smiled at me like that? My face automatically lit up with a smile and I nodded, turning Lucy around again. "I'll help, I wont take the shot for you but I'll give you some assistance." My hand ran lightly down the arm that held the pink bowling ball and I grabbed Lucy's wrist, feeling her pulse beat underneath it. "I always try to aim a little bit off to the side of the centre pin. It seems to work for me, anyway." Shrugging, I looked down at Lucy's wrist and started adjusting it's angle until it was just about right. "Aiming's all in the angle of your wrist. Try to keep your wrist locked in this position until you let go of the ball, ok? And try to keep your swing pretty straight too." Pressing a kiss to Lucy's cheek, I let go of her wrist and stepped back, giving my lifemate some room. "Ok, give it a go. I'm sure you'll do better this time."

Lucy: I lean back into Demitri when he begins to help me with my shot, trying to mimic his leg positions too. "A little to the side, got it..." I try to concentrate on hitting the pins when Demitri steps back. I lift up my arm behind my back and swing it forward, releasing the ball towards the lane. When it hits the center pin, I jump up and down excitedly thinking I got a strike. I turn around smiling at Demitri not realizing it had actually been a 7 10 split.

I pursed my lips as I looked at the 7-10 split. Lucy seemed to be oblivious to it though. "Uhh, not bad, but you're gonna have to just focus on one of the pins and forget the other." I told Lucy, gesturing for her to turn around. Once she did, I quickly decoded to add, "You still did great though, you knocked down more than 6 pins, you just can't really get a spare unless you use magic or something along those lines."

Lucy: I continue to smile until Demitri says something about focusing on one pin and I turn around and frown. "Awww... crap..." I sigh and walk over to the balls and pick another one up. I aim a little bit to the left of the pin on the left side, not realizing the flaw in that plan until I had released the ball already. I watch the ball roll down the lane and then fall into the gutter on the left side. I frown and walk over to Demitri. "I'm almost as bad at this as you are at climbing trees..." I laugh a little. He should be able to tell that I was teasing him, but if he didn't I just hoped he wouldn't get mad like in the car. I wrap my arms around him and look up at him, smiling.

"Haha, very funny." I chuckled slightly and pressed a kiss to Lucy's nose. "You'll get better eventually, and it's not as if the entire nght revolves around bowling; I bet you'll do really well when playing arcade games." Pulling away from Lucy, very very reluctantly, I grabbed my dark blue ball and focused on aiming for a moment before taking my shot. Seven pins down, 3 left and one that was on the other side of the lane than the others. Biting my lip so much that my fangs actually drew blood, I rolled the ball towards the two, watching them get knocked over before the ball went into the gutter. Turning back to Lucy, I shrugged at my performance. "Well, it looks like I'm not getting a spare either." I told Lucy, sitting on one of the chairs. "You're go."
((Skippy or no skippy? And if skippy, how far should we skippy?))

Hope's not, but she's sleeping... What if she woke up in the middle of the night and snuck downstairs? I mean Joe's got the baby monitor but he's too, uhh, 'busy' to be paying attention to it, and Kiara's probably not listening out for her sister so she could probably get away with it.

Lucy: I'm curled up on the couch with my legs crossed across Demitri's lap loosely. One of my arms is around Demitri's neck and my head is resting on his shoulder as I watch TV.
