Oh god Wolfie DX oh no I knew this was coming

After spending a few minutes gathering the ingredients and mixing them into the bowl, letting Luna mix in the chocolate chips, noticing that she had eaten a few kisses when she thought I wasn't looking, I sorted the cookies into little balls and laid them out on the cookie sheet. After all of the dough was scraped our of the bowl, I began to put the cookies in the oven as I heard my daughter chime up again behind me. What was she asking? If I was... The queen of winter? I jumped slightly almost burning my hand before safely placing the rest of the cookies in the oven, giving myself a moment to think. Well certainly I wasnt the queen of winter in the formal sense, that was Elsa, she deserved that title because she could actually control ice. Trying to figure out how to word what I was going to say, I turned back to Luna. "Well.. You're his princess, his daughter so that dos makes you the princess of winter." I placed the dirty bowls in the sink and began to scrub the. "But I don't have any ice or snow powers so I think Elsa would technically be a queen of wjnter. But as for jacks queen of winter I suppose I could be, but thats up to jack. You're daddy and I aren't married Luna." I sighed slightly, it was best to just tell her the truth. As long as jack and I had been together I couldn't claim that spot unless we were actually married, which had never really crossed my mind to be honest. Nor was it even possible to think about right now with everything going on and him going away again.

Mommy's answer had been confusing. From what she gathered, Queen Elsa was the Queen of Winter because she had Winter powers, even though she wasn't family, but wouldn't that mean that Luna was the Princess of electricty, not the Princess of Winter? And she was Alex's daughter, too, and the mommy of a Princess was a Queen, right? It was one of those confusing adult things that didn't sound like it made sense, but Luna tried to understand it, anyway. "But you're my mommy, and you just said that I'm the Princess of Winter, so that makes you the Queen of Winter? Or... The Queen of the pointy-teethed people?" Did pointy-teethed people even have a ruler? Shaking her head in confusion, Luna wiped her hands off in her clothes, deciding that she'd come up with her own conclusion to the confusing adult answer. "I think you're the Queen of Winter." She decided with a proud grin as she sat up at the dinner table across the room. "'Cause you're my mommy and daddy loves you and we're a family, which makes you royalty." Maybe Luna's secret motive to this was fulfilling her dream of being a real Princess, but she wasn't going to give that away. "And you're like a Queen because you're nice and pretty and tell people what to do all the time and make choices so... You're the Queen of Winter, mhmm." She nodded, beaming a grin. Then, suddenly, "Oh! And can I have vegetable pasta for dinner please?"

"I'm sorry I know its confusing. It's a confusing situation." However, when Luna said that she thought she was the queen of winter I couldn't help but smile. I mean who wouldn't smile at that? What she said was right. Maybe kids had it figured out better than we did. I set the timer for the cookies and looked back at my daughter. "Vegetable pasta? You got it." I began to pull things oit of the cabinet and grabbed ingredients from the fridge. The cooking would help clear the air after a question like that. I hoped she didn't have any more up her sleeve.

After I had finished cooking the pasta, I handed a bowl to Luna and made a bowl up for myself. "Be careful. It's going to be hot and I don't want you to bun your tongue okay?" As I warned her, I heard the timer ding, which meant the first batch of cookies were done. Quickly, I pulled them out to cool and slid in another cookie sheet, resetting the timer before returning to my meal. "So how is it?" I say as I took a bite. Vegetable pasta wasn't something I normally made for Luna but it was definitely easy enough to do.

Bleh, I shouldn't have stayed up last night but it was accidental! I was just trying to read a chapter of fanfic, I didn't realize it was gonna be that long, nor did I notice that it was 1am! DX

The subject seemed to be dropped for a moment and Luna got distracted as vegetable pasta was placed in front of her and the smell of cookies filled the air. She inhaled deeply, savouring the scent and taking a moment to really appreciate where she was now. She had a family that loved her and was never mean to her, a family who cared enough to save her from bad people and make her yummy food. There had been a time when she couldn't have even imagined having a life like this but now that she did, no one would ever really understand how grateful she was.

She was snapped out of her thoughts when her mommy asked her about the food, and Luna quickly shoved a fork of pasta in her mouth. It was hot, maybe a little too hot, but it was too delicious to spit back out so she just swallowed it. "It's really nice. And healthy, because you said I had to have a healthy dinner. Thank you, mommy." She grinned, taking another mouthful of food, making sure that this one had cooled down a bit first.

As she continued to eat, Luna's thoughts went back to being a Princess of Winter. Being surrounded by people like Elsa and Anna, and Sora and Sora's mommy, she had kind of felt left out of all the Princess stuff and had wanted to be one, too. Now it had been confirmed that she was a Princess, but something didn't feel right. She frowned a little, realizing what it was, and spoke up quietly. "Do you think other people will believe I'm a Princess?" She asked Alex, staring down at her food but not really eating it. "Sora is the Princess of Wutai, Queen Elsa is the Queen of... Some place... But I'm not the Princess of a place, so what if people don't believe me if I say I'm the Princess of Winter? I don't even have Winter powers like daddy, I have..." She turned her right palm skyward and watched as sparks formed at her fingertips, her frown deepening. Luna might believe herself to be a Princess, but no one else would believe it, especially since she was the Princess of a thing, not a place.
