I looked at her, taking in every word she had said to me. I wanted to say something but I didnt. But as soon as she was done talking, she got up and told me I could drink the rest of her wine. Of course I wouldnt deny a offer like that. Especially from Holt. But sadly, I was left sitting at the door with both my wine glass and hers. Something about her always made my heart pound and I could never find out what. Was it because she was so serious yet laid back? Even someone like me didnt even know this. Taking my wine glass, I downed the rest of the drink before taking Holts and looking at the wine.

It was as if I didnt want to drink it, staring at the glass, looking at what was left and twirling it around a few times. Did I really like Holt? Dispite the small time i've known her? My heart made it clear that I liked her. Possibly loved her just a little bit inside. Maybe its how Brave she is and how she wouldnt mind giving up her freedom and letting a boss control her. She had some guts. I would have left by this point. But the fact that she put her heart and soul into her job was just amazing.

I can juggle two things but not three. I blame having small hands, but I don't even know if hand size really effect it. I think it does, though. *Shrugs.*

Just found out that an AS Psychology classmate decided to take on the A2 Psychology course... Hmmm... I might have to steal her brain at some point! I wanted to do A2 so badly but ended up doing Foundation Degree instead DX

As much as I wanted so desperately to sleep, given the lack of sleep the night before, I didn't. I spent most of the night pacing, thinking, trying to read a book to stop the thinking, and then thinking again. I just couldn't get that night's events off of my mind and I was to scared of having nightmares to even fall asleep. When I wasn't thinking about the sheer terror of coming face to face with a Strigoi, though, I was thinking of James. Moroi weren't fighters, and yet the way he risked his life to save me was... So brave and heroic, and something I never expected one of his kind to do. All my life I had been brought up to fear them for the evil, blood-sucking monsters they were, but James didn't fit that description. Sure, he did drink blood, but he wasn't a monster, and he, from what I had witnessed, was in no way evil.

Admittedly, in my insomniac state, I did go and check on him in the early hours of the morning, or rather I went to check that he had at least tidied up. After finding the glasses in the sink and the bottle on the counter - not exactly tidied up, but at least they weren't on the floor - I quietly walked over and peered down at him as he slept. He seemed so peaceful, almost child-like, his handsome features somewhat softening in his slumber. A nonsensical part of me wanted to reach out and run my fingers through strands of messy hair, curious as to what it would feel like, but I soon chastised myself for even thinking like that. Whatever mixed up feelings I had for James I couldn't let myself succumb to. Sure, he was attractive - incredibly so - and funny and brave and so much more than the party boy persona he displayed, but he was still unholy and unnatural and something I should not get myself involved with. There was a divide between him and myself, a divide that was there for a reason, a divide that had to stay there, no matter how I felt. It was just the way things had to be, and if I crossed that divide, not only would I be going against everything I was brought up to believe, but I was risking re-education, and I had seen people come out of re-education acting like mindless, brainwashed zombies. That was something I never wanted to become. With a sigh I had stopped gazing at James and mulling over my thoughts, returning to my room. I thought I would've struggled to sleep again, but exhaustion eventually won out and I fell asleep, only to be woken up a couple hours later.

At first I was tempted to ignore the knocking at my door, reluctant to get out of bed when I was so so tired. I almost did fall back to sleep, but then I realized who it'd probably be. After a night like last night, where my life was in danger due to something that most normal humans didn't even know about, and with so much damage control to do, there was only one person who would knock at my door at 8am in the morning. Arkand. And there was a Moroi in my living room! With surprising speed for someone who had literally just woken up, I leapt out of bed and rushed into the living room. James was already going to answer the door for me. My heart dropped. "Don't answer it!" I whisper-shouted, knowing that James' enhanced hearing would pick up on it but Arkand wouldn't have heard a thing. I practically vaulted over my couch in an effort to stop the equally as sleepy Vampire, putting myself in between him and the door. "One second!" I call to my visitor, then, without thinking about what exactly I was doing, I started pushing James towards the kitchen window. "You can't let him see you!" I whisper-shouted yet again. "If he sees a Moroi in my apartment, he'll only think the worst!" Once at the kitchen window, I pointed to the fire escape stairs it opened up onto. "Sorry about this, but you have to leave this way. I can't exactly let you walk out the front door when there's an Alchemist on the other side." I hoped James understood. Kicking him out so abruptly wasn't personal, I just couldn't risk getting into trouble.
((James can either leave or stay hidden on the fire escape and spy on Maria, since she's about to go into full Alchemist mode in front of her superior. Could be interesting for him to see Maria become emotionless and epicly good at lying, maybe And yes, I did think of this entire post last night and remembered it even after sleep XD))

Juggling is fun but very hard. Yea wolfie I have tiny hands and it makes it very difficult

James was sleeping as Holt was in the room, he heard her footsteps but he knew it was just her walking around and doing whatever she had to do. The couch was surprisingly comfy though and really didnt want to wake up. So he put himself into a Spirit dream, sitting in a grassy Field under a tree with Holt. Just talking with her, joking and laughing. Even in the dream she still had that same personality, got defencive when it came to Alchemists when he brought it up. But laughed and teased him back when he would ask a question. This is what he loved about Spirit dreams. They felt real and it was as if it was actually happening.

But he knew better, knowing that he could never do this in real life due to the fact that the Alchemists can put her somewhere where he wont ever see her again. This is why James didnt go too far with things because if those stupid Alchemists took her away from him..he had no idea what to do. He didnt want anything to happen to her at all. He protected her from Strigoi in a club and took a bite, being a distraction to the Strigoi just so she could get away and be safe.

Thoughts going thrown into the air, he heard loud knocking which only made him want to push himself more into the dream. Only the knocking becoming more annoying and he grunted slightly, getting up and streching his limbs, making his way over to the door, only for his hearing to pick up a yell-whisper. Causing him to look over at Holt, watching as she stood between him and the door and started pushing him to the kitchen and the fire escape that was outside. He figured it was someone she was afraid of so he spoke.

"Well if you're pushing me out so quickly, might wanna wash one glass and put it away. And also fix the couch. Just so nothing gets even more suspecious..." he pointed out, thinking for her pretty quickly for a sleepy Moroi. He climbed out and then closed the window, telling her from the outside to lock it and he walked up the next few steps up to another person's window that had the fire escape right there. Just so the person that was knocking on Holts door wouldnt look around and see him on her floor of the fire escape. He pulled out his ciggarettes and pulled a stick out, lighting it and smoking it. Knowing that he needed it.

I'll reply once I'm on the laptop again; enjoying tea and cake with mum. But yes. Feels and Maria's inner between her head and her heart, her feelings and beliefs, a Moroi and the Alchemists X3

if you were gonna say that spirit dreams cant have a made up person there even though they're the same as in real life, I didnt know they couldnt do that ;-;

I was going to say something along those lines, yeah, Spirit dreams involve actually pulling sleeping people into the dreams so Maria would've had to have been asleep to have appeared in the Spirit dream... Also the Spirit users aren't actually asleep when they cast the dream, they're in a "Meditative state", according to Adrian. You might not have known that one because it's mentioned in The Fiery Heart. Actually, I don't think I even knew until I read it so... Yeah...
