Jack stared in awe at how amazingly beautiful his girlfriend looked, not that she wasn't amazingly beautiful at other times but right now... He began to lead her down to the ballroom, and opened the doors for her like any gentleman should. It was still quite quiet - many people were probably still getting ready. "By the way, you look absolutely stunning, m'lady." He whispered in her ear with a small smirk as he lead her in. He could see one couple dancing and a few people to the sides of the room. When more people turned up, it would probably be an incredible evening - one to remember.

I shook my head and sighed, grabbing clothes and heading into the shower. "I'll be back in a few minutes I bed to clear my head." After finishing she shower and popping some Ibprofen from her hang over and the headache that had just started. Coming back out from the bathroom dressed, I flip on the bed, my wet hair going everywhere. "I just can't believe let this happen.."

I say with a sigh and lean on the door trying to think and wonder. I just really hopped that if she was pregnant the baby would take more human then vampire traits. I didn't know how to control a half vampire kid. Plus me and Macey arnt even dating.

I couldn't believe how well everything had gone together, the decorations looked amazing, the music that was playing currently was just perfect and should never be changed. The food smelled great and all the people looked amazing. Already, with almost no one here, it seemed like it was going to be a perfect evening. When complimented me I smiled, very flattered. "Oh why thank you jack."

I had gotten changed in Natty's room because I guessed that I'd need help with my dress and, well, I did, so it was a good thing I had decided to get dressed in her room! I also needed help tying my mask on and, once Nathalie had helped with that, I went to look in the mirror, letting out a awestruck, "Woah." at myself. I looked so... Grown up! And pretty, like a pretty, elegant bird. Like a swan. Like a Swan Princess! I couldn't help but let out a laugh at that thought - of me looking like a grown up fairytale creature - but I soon composed myself. After bidding my sister a goodbye for now - we'd see each other again in the ballroom - I made my way to Kyle's room, not needing to worry about Sunny since I had left her with Jack's little friend, Luna; apparently she really loved dogs. Taking a deep breath outside of Kyle's door, I took a moment to calm my smile before I knocked. I just hoped he thought I looked pretty, too, otherwise wearing this dress would've been pointless.

Taylor's outfit:

Was it weird that I actually kinda liked my outfit? I mean, besides the old-fashioned frilly parts and the shorts which required those stupidly long white socks that made you look like a weirdo, the jacket wasn't actually that bad, and that was the main part of the outfit so... Yeah... I just hoped that Nathalie saw that too and didn't end up laughing at me... Ok, she was definitely gonna laugh, but maybe I'd at least get a teasing compliment on how 'Handsome' I look? Well, there was only one way to find out. After brushing my hair for, like, the 15th time and readjusting my jacket for the 20th, I went down to the floor below behind and knocked on Nathalie's door. "Is the beautiful Juliette ready yet? Because her Romeo awaits." Hey, who said I couldn't have a bit of fun tonight? Besides, in this getup, I did kinda feel like Romeo. At least, I think he wore this kind of stuff...

Xavier's outfit:

"Well look at you, Hopey! You're such a beautiful little Princess!" I told my little sister as she did a twirl for Dad, Arthur and I. And Snowball, of course. 'Thank you!' She grinned as she turned to face me. 'You look really pretty, too.' I looked down at myself and smiled sadly. I guess she was right - this historic dress did look pretty good on me - it was just a shame that there was no one here to appreciate it, well, no man my age, anyway. Not that I felt like I needed a man to appreciate me, because look how well that turned out last time, huh? 'She's right, Kiara, you look stunning. Just like a fairytale Princess.' My dad spoke up, probably because he could see the sadness in my smile. I wouldn't take what I felt was a pity compliment, though, so I just asked, "Are you sure you're ok dog-sitting? I know how much you wanted to go..." 'I'll be fine. No matter how much we want it, some things just aren't meant to be.' Somehow I felt we weren't even talking about the ball anymore, and the sorrow reflected into my father's eyes confirmed that. As much as I knew that this would happen to him again - to all of us - I still found myself feeling sorry for my dad, and feeling sorry that I fell for Ryan's empty promises just as much as he did. The sadness in the air was too much for me, and certainly too much for Hope, so I cut the conversations short with an, "Ok, lets go. See ya, dad!" And left the room with Hope, blinking back tears as I made my way to the ballroom. I couldn't cry tonight, I had to remain happy - on the outside, if not on the inside - for my little sister's sake.

Kiara and Hope's outfits:

Right now, I had no idea what was going on. All of a sudden, yesterday, as I was trying to teach Daniel how to ride a horse - I had received permission from Anna to use Bjartr and the Queen's horse, Fridr - he had... Asked me on a date, I believe. He did not specify it as such, however he said to dress in a suit, so one could only assume that he was taking me to a fancy dinner of sort. My stomach had butterflies, believe it or not, because apart from my assumptions, I didn't know what Daniel had planned. He even gave strict instructions not to leave my apartment until he came to get me, for crying out loud! Nevertheless, despite my nerves, I was sure that whatever happened would be romantic, as Daniel had quite a knack for creating romantic moments. I just hoped that he would hurry up soon so that I could cease my pacing across the wooden floor.

Caius' outfit:

So tonight was the night, huh? The night of the ball and, for once, I wasn't wearing my mother's ring around my neck. I guess the fact that I had to dress formally meant that I could get away with not wearing it without looking suspicious, but I was still nervous, I mean, Sierra could read minds! What if she figured something was up? It was because of this that I tried not to think about the fact that my mom's ring was in the outfit's pocket, or that I had other plans tonight. Nope, we were just going to the ball, that's it, nothing else was going on. Great, like that didn't suspicious. Taking a deep breath, I began to twiddle my thumbs as I waited on the couch for my girlfriend to come out of the bedroom in her dress. The taxi - I couldn't be able to ride the motorbike to the mansion in this outfit, or with Sierra in a poofy dress - would be here any minute and I was getting a little worried because, well, for a vampire, Sierra sure took a long time to get ready!

Denzel's outfit:

The soft ochestral music lured me into the ballroom before I even had a chance to meet up with Chloe. Despite this, though, I was enjoying myself, listening contently to the music. It wasn't until I realised that more people were coming in that I finally decided to look for Chloe. To be honest, it wasn't hard to find her in that bright orange dress, which I was actually thankful about, so within a few minutes of searching, I walked right over to her and tapped her on the shoulder. "Hey Chloe, nice dress!" Ok, so maybe orange wasn't my thing, but it was clearly her thing so, you know, whatever made her happy.

Thorn's outfit:

The ball had officially started! People were beginning to show up and start dancing already, the band was playing and the chocolate covered strawberries were amazing! I couldn't help but stuff another one in my face as I looked around at all the people showing up in their wonderful dresses and suits with equally wonderful masks, only frowning a little when I realised I saw no sign of anyone I really knew. That was ok, I could guess what was going on: Yuffie was probably rebelling, Matio was probably struggling with his suit, Justin and Elsa were probably spending a couple minutes alone with each other first and Kennedy had yet to arrive. Maybe Valeriya was causing her some stomach upset? I wasn't sure, but what I was sure about was that my friends and family would show up soon, I just had to... Give them a bit more time, is all.

Anna's outfit:

Despite how nervous I was - I had no experience with balls so I was really worried about messing up in some way - I tried to put it all behind me. Why? Because I remembered that, a few months ago, Elsa said that she had been planning to avoid the masquerade ball. After 3 months of dating the woman I had learnt a lot about her and knew that she hated dresses, disliked dancing and, well, after how her last ball went, she'd probably be more anxious about tonight than I was. I realised a couple days ago that she was only going through with attending the ball because she didn't want to disappoint her little sister, or me, for that matter. If she was going to put up with the things she disliked just for us, the least I could do was make it an enjoyable experience for her. Or try to, at least. That's why I could be seen physically shaking off the nerves as I made my way to my girlfriend's room, why I could be seen smiling - albeit a little nervously - as I ruffled my unruly hair with the hand that wasn't currently holding a box and a bag containing my casual clothes right now and why, as I knocked on Elsa's door, I called out, "M'lady? Your Prince Charming has arrived to escort you to the ball!" Ok, calling myself Prince Charming sounded stupid now that I said it out loud. I just hoped that Elsa took it in a light-hearted, trying to joke around way, not an arrogant way...

Justin's outfit:

He had lost his jacket, huh? Or rather, Micah lost Henry's jacket. Kids would be kids, I guess, but now it was holding us back a little. Entering Henry's room, I set my daughter on the ground before narrowing my eyes at my ball buddy for the evening. "Word of warning: So much as even smirk at my dress and I'll kick you in the balls so hard you'll sound like a chipmunk, even when you reach 70 years old, understand?" Just to prevent any teasing comments about me wearing a dress, because I knew there was bound to be plenty of them. With the warning being given I started helping Henry search the room for his jacket while Sora entertained herself with Micah. It took a couple minutes but I found it halfway behind the drawers. Great. I couldn't exactly bend down in the nightmare of an outfit. Pursing my lips a little, I looked over to the mini me on the bed. "Sora, can you come and pick up this jacket for mommy?" I had trained the kid pretty damn well for someone who thought they'd be a c*** mom, because she did exactly what she was told and managed to reach behind the drawers to get to the jacket. She didn't give it back to me, though. Instead, she put it on - which was funny because it was waaay to big for her - and walked over to Henry. "Say please, Hen-Hen!" Ah, that's my girl, making there be a catch to get the jacket back. She could've asked for money or sweets, though. Why the heck did she just ask for a 'Please'?!

"Hmm... I think I remember how to do it, though it's been years since I've had to do a bow tie so bear with me." I told my gorgeous husband as I took the bow tie from Sam and wrapped it around his neck. I'll admit that it took a couple attempts, but with each attempt the memories returned and eventually I was able to remember how to do it. "There you go." I told Sam was I fixed his collar, stepping back to gaze at the godly sight of Samuel in a tux. Seriously, I could go on for hours about how handsome he looked, but instead I decided to keep it short and sweet, for the sake of the time. "You look amazing, Sam. Really. You should wear a tux more often because the sight is definitely swoon-worthy." With a grin, I pressed my lips to his, then moved around my own personal Adonis to reach my mask and put it on. "The only issue with you in a tux, actually, is that you're so swoon-worthy that I may have to keep girls away from you all evening." I added with a smirk, though a part of me was actually worried. I know that we were married now and Sam would never go off with another girl anyway, but old habits die hard, you know?

So it was the hair that was taking up all the time! I felt like telling Tucker 'I told you so!' but I was too distracted by my girlfriend in her cute prom-like dress. "Well, darlin', I dunno about me, but I think you look amazing!" She really did - mint green really suited Dilynn - I just wished that I had picked out a mint green tie and mask, too. The one time I didn't pay attention to a women and not only did it result in us wearing different colors, but opposite colors. Boy did I learn my lesson! Pushing Tucker off of my lap, I stood up and brushed the fur for my suit before taking Dilynn's hand and making her do a little twirl so that I could see her in the dress from every angle. Once she was facing me again, though, I couldn't help but give her a sheepish smile. "Sorry about not matching, though, I guess my mind was someplace else at the time. I promise next time, though, I'll try to search for a mint green tie. Not sure how successful I'll be at finding one, but it'll be worth a shot, right?"

"Ohhhh!" Now I got it! Geez, that sucked, I mean, making a mistake when breaking up with someone and then not being able to get them back? That really sucked. I tried to imagine what I'd do if I messed up like that, while another part of my brain tried working in my fancy footwork, my eyes gluing themselves to my shoes. "Y'know, if I break up with you - which will never happen, obviously - and then regretted it and found out you had moved on to someone else, I would just butt into the relationship and try to win you back." I shrugged, remembering that I should be focusing my gaze in Sammi's olive green eyes during the dance, not my feet. "I guess Chloe's not brave enoug to do that sort of thing, though, right? Still, she should know to fight for what she wants and what she loves, I guess... I dunno, I'm no love expert, I just think she shouldn't just stand by and let someone else get into the guy's pants."

At first I was a little confused when Cat started talking about acting like a Princess, but I soon caught on - I was pretty quick when it came to things like this. "Ah, so you were 'Daddy's perfect Princess, huh? And there were loads of rules in place to keep you acting perfect?" I grimaced as I imagined it, my hands in my pockets as I started walking with Cat, not really sure if I was meant to hold her hand or link arms or whatever. "That sucks, but hey, at least you don't have to worry about that anymore. Now you can do whatever you want, like alter your dress, which looks gorgeous by the way, and go to a ball and, I dunno, flirt with any teenaged guy who just so happens to be lonely tonight. Well, besides me, anyways." Ok, so technically I wasn't a teenaged guy, but I was still stuck at 18 looks-wise so... Yeah... Y'know, at first I thought staying young forever would be cool, but now I was realising that it really sucked!

At first when Rose mentioned wanting to be a nurse, the wrong kind of images filled my mind - damn you, Jason! - but at the mention of kids, a nicer, less inappropriate image replaced them, and actually caused me to smile a little. "Those kids would love that." Who wouldn't love a Kitty nurse? "I mean, we all know cancer sucks, and for a kid it sucks even more, being so young and all, but if they could cuddle a cat, or see one play, it might brihten up their days." I could really see Rose letting a sick kid scratch her ear and watching the smile light up the kid's face when she purred. That'd be pretty awesome to be able to do, actually. With my smile turning warmer, I kissed Rose's shoulder, encouraging her with, "Get writing that application, Kitty. The sooner it's done, the sooner Nurse Hathaway can soread joy to those hospitalized kids."

Sammi listened to her fiance's advice for her best friend, and she too thought the same. "I don't know why she hasn't tried, to be honest. Perhaps she has other things going on that she doesn't want to talk about." She suggested, feeling slightly bad for dragging her along even though she probably didn't want to be there. As the song ended, she made an over exaggerated curtsy, "Thank you, Sir Jason, for that remarkable dance." She smirked.

Nathalie was just applying the last of her make up when she heard a knock on the door. She slipped her high heels on as she called out to Xavier, "Juliette is ready indeed," She said, checking her hair one last time - she had it in an updo to keep it out of her face, since she wanted to keep her natural curls. She walked towards the door and opened it to see his outfit - she hadn't seen it before, just knew the colour of it. She gave him a once over, smirking slightly, it was strange to see him in very old fashioned clothing.

Cat was relieved that he bought the whole 'daddy's princess' story, after all, she didn't want to be treated differently in any way, she was really happy with how she was being treated and spoken too now. It was casual and nice. She looked down at the dress with a smile, "Thank you," She accepted the compliment because it was a genuine compliment - not just given to get on hers and her parent's good side. She felt slightly awkward being escorted by Jeremy, but not the same time, she didn't. It was a different feeling. When he mentioned flirting, she saw it as an option, although she had no idea how to do so. She had always been taught to be proper, and had never been allowed to do such things, "Well, that would be an interesting sight." She said, more to herself than to Jeremy.

Jack smiled, she really was beautiful today, and the way the blue dress went against her red hair just looked... Wow... The way her hair just fell onto her shoulders in those perfectly formed curls, framing her face in such a graceful, elegant way. He heard the music and decided that he may as well get a nice dance in before it got too crowded. He smirked as he placed one hand behind his back and held one out as he bowed to his girlfriend. "Might I give m'lady her first dance?" He asked and kept his hand out for her to take.

Kyle had gone very simple with his outfit; Taylor was wearing something black and white, so he had gone for the traditional tuxedo. The mask he had got irritated him, so he decided against wearing it. He heard a knock on his door, so he walked up to it and spoke as he began to open it, "I thought I was going to be picking you... Woah." He exhaled. He was meant to be going to Taylor's room in about... Five minutes time; perhaps she just couldn't wait. His eyes took in her dress, how it looked just perfect on his girlfriend. "You look stunning." He complimented her.

Sierra just couldn't figure out what to do with her hair, she started over several times and it was getting ridiculous. She had finally found one she was perfectly comfortable with, she had taken the strands either side of her face and twisted them to meet in the middle, then used her curling iron to make ringlets with the rest of her hair. With another once over, she decided it was fine and she left the bedroom. "Sorry I took so long." She apologised to her boyfriend, she knew that the taxi would be here soon, and she was only just done getting ready.

Oh my gosh. Best dream ever!

It was an OUAT dream and not only was I the grandaughter or Prince Charming and Snow White (And therefore Emma's daughter) but Regina planned a day out for a group of people, including my 'Family' and Justin. At first it was a bit weird, I was dying my hair blonde and Jusin was keeping an eye on the time I needed to wash the stuff out, and we had to travel across this dangerous trap where one wrong move got you stung by bees and I just legged it in a straight line and got away scott free, but then OMG! Regina had planned this virtual fight sort of thing and we got to choose (plastic) weapons 10 seconds before the fight begun and I was gonna go for a giant catapult thing but ended up going for a really shiny pretty blue. The game started then and we had to take down this evil monkey - I think it was a flying monkey - which appeared on the screen (Every surface was like an interactive projector screen) and everyone was struggling to hit it, but I just chased the thing down, hit it four times in a row with my sword and defeated the evil monkey with a Charming-esque flare because I think it was, like, an inherited talent from him! At the end while I was recieving hugs from my family I had the cheek to say 'Not bad for the grandaughter of Prince Charming and Snow White, huh?' XD If only that dream was real! If only it was a real evil monkey!

By the way, Scampi, you forgot Chloe. I changed Thorn's post so that she's found Chloe.

Maybe Sammi was right, maybe Chloe had other stuff going on too,, but stuff she wasn't telling her best friend about? I thought women were into all that 'Telling your best friend everything that's bothering you' c***. Maybe this was just another complicated woman thing, so I decided to let it slide as the music came to end. I couldn't help but chuckle at Sammi's curtsy, replying with a gentlemanly bow and even a kiss to her hand, just to add to stupidly formal stuff. "You're welcome. It was a pleasure to dance with with, babe." I smirked as I straightened up, looking behind Sammi at the large tables of food and drink. "Now, Miss Phoenix, would you care to join me in drinking some wine and stuffing our faces with fancy food?" Apart from seeing Sammi dressed up really pretty and trying to be more romantic, the fancy food and the alcohol were probably the only reasons why I came to this ball tonight.

As soon as I saw Nathalie's dress, my jaw dropped and I let out an involuntary, "Wow..." Seriously, though, that dress alone looked amazing, and with Nat wearing it, the view was even better. "You look... Wow..." And then I looked at myself and, as much as I liked this outfit, it suddenly seemed out of place. "Oh geez, I, uh, I was expecting you to wear something old fashioned, too. If I knew you'd wear a modern dress, I would've dressed up modern too. Sorry Nat, really." Now I'd look stupid next to her, but instead of seeming annoyed by it, when I looked back up at my date for the evening, she was smirking at me. Weird. "What's with the smirk?" I asked her confusedly, looking down at myself again to make sure there wasn't something on my outfit. "Is something up? Is something funny?"

That'd be an interesting sight, huh? I guessed Cat hadn't really flirted with everyone, especially with her strict, douchebag parents. At this I nudged her playfully, trying to keep it gentle so that I didn't make her fall down the stairs. "Hey, it's worth a shot, right? And besides, you might be a natural at flirting, you just don't know it yet." Even if she wasn't a natural at flirting, I bet she'd find a guy by the end of the night, I mean, she was a pretty girl in a pretty dress, what teenaged boy with raging hormones wouldn't want to be with her? Aaanyway, once we reached the ballroom, I took a moment to take in the atmosphere. The place looked pretty damn awesome, maybe a bit to formal for my liking, but I was sure it was right up Caius' street, so he'd love it. Turning my attention to Cat, I gestured between the food tables and the dancefloor. "So, do you wanna load up on sugar first, or do you wanna try and teach me how to dance first? Unless you can't dance either, in which case I guess we're both screwed, right?"

"Woah me? Woah you, Kyle! Have you looked in the mirror?" I replied to my boyfriend's shocked look with an equally shocked look. I had seen Kyle in a suit before, at Dayna's wedding and at Bex's wedding, but that was last year and the memories were a little fuzzy, but now... Woah, he looked so handsome when he was dressed up, and even manlier, if that was even possible! "Sorry about showing up early, though, I just couldn't be bothered to wait any longer to see you dressed up, and I couldn't be bothered to just sit in my room for 5 minutes either." I couldn't even stop smiling! Aaah, this was so exciting!!! For a moment, I pulled Kyle into a kiss by the collar of his jacket, hoping that a kiss would calm me down but when I felt my tail wagging under my dress - gosh, that must've looked weird! - I knew that it wasn't working, so I just gave in and grabbed Kyle's hand, bouncing up and down a little (I was wearing flats, not heels!), my loose curls bouncing too. "Come on, Kylie Kyle! You've gotta take your Princess to the ball!" Heehee, I felt like a Princess! This ball hadn't even started and I loved it already!

"Hey, it's ok, you made it here before the taxi so it's ok." Standing to my feet, I grinned as I unashamedly looked Sierra up and down. "Wow, you look even more beautiful than you do in regular clothes." I had seen the dress before, since we shared a room and all, but mixed with Sierra's great hairstyle and, well, her beauty in general, she looked like she was... I dunno, just this amazingly beautiful girl; geez, I needed to work on my metaphors and stuff! Could you believe this was the girl I was was gonna marry? If she said yes to my proposal, that is. W-Which totally wasn't happening tonight because, y'know, tonight was the ball for that guy who owns the mansion, so I wouldn't wanna steal his thunder! I would've mentally kicked myself over and over for that if I wasn't worried Sierra would pick up on it, so instead I walked over and pressed a distracting kiss to her lips, only pulling away a little later when I heard a knock at the door. Saved by the taxi! Yes! Pulling away, I made sure that the money for the taxi ride was in the pocket, along with mom's ring and the apartment keys, before holding my hand out to my vampire girlfriend. "You ready to go, or did you forget something and need another hour to fix it?" I teased Sierra light-heartedly, trying to hide my nerves behind humor.
