Even though I was the one that was beaten up - and might I had that I was probably gonna be bruised from head to toe - I seemed like the normal one for a moment, because I could tell that TJ's elemental side was taking over and he was about to set fire to someone and KJ, well, her eyes went red for crying out loud! I knew it was a vampire thing, and I had never seen any blood stuff at KJ's house, so I was really worried about her right now, but I just... Damn it! I forced myself up, gritting my teeth through the pain, and started walking off to find Kara-Jayne. 'Cody, you should go and see the nurse.' A teacher called after me, and I knew she was right since something was probably broken, but I wanted to make sure that Kara didn't do anything crazy. "I will in a minute, I just... I've just gotta go to the mens room." That was a bad lie since I was limping away from the boy's bathroom, but oh well, it'd have to do.
