"Yes ma'am." I chuckled and used the edge of the bed to help me up - my legs refused to co-operate properly - and opened the curtain a bit. The light from outdoors blinded me temporarily and strange spots impaired my vision. "Yup, it's bright outside." I confirmed. "Really bright." I closed the curtain again and blinked several times until my eyesight was back to normal, or almost normal at least.

She smiled as held the door open and she walked out. After she passed the door her clothes changed so she wore black kaprees and a blue tank top with her hair up in a pony tail. She began walking down stairs and she asked looking at Joe, "What do you suggest I try eating?" she could go for years without drinking blood or eating human food. But suddenly being with someone who does need the nutrience of human food to stay healthy has made her slightly hunger for the human's creation.

Hmmm... Good question. There was far too many breakfast foods to choose from and, being someone who very rarely bothered to eat breakfast, I didn't exactly know what to suggest. "Pancakes, maybe?" I answered. Everyone loved pancakes, didn't they? Plus you could have them sweet or savoury which was good.

How do you explain what a pancake was? "Ummm... It's this batter stuff that's cooked in a pan and turns into a flat, soft... Thing..." Yeah, that didn't go too well. "You'll see what I mean." I hoped she liked trying new stuff because if Isolt didn't then this breakfast wasn't going to go very well. I walked into the kitchen ahead of Isolt and began getting out the ingredients and making the pancakes.
