If only he would join the club as well, then things would be A okay. His dad's birthday is next Wednesday and we're gonna walk up to his gravesite. Joe doesn't like talking about it, but he really misses him. Three years ago, Joe was the one who found him. Heart attack, and I don't think joe ever really got over it. We both know things about eachother that other people don't know but he ends up dating other people and not me. His profile picture on Facebook is of him and another girl that goes to our school. I don't think he's joining the club any time soon.

I squealed in surprise when Dylan put me on his back and then clung on, not wanting to fall off. "Yeah, well, it's a pretty easy thing to pick up on when I have an awesome boyfriend like you." Plus I just thought about how my mom and dad used to act - the way they used to kiss all the time and hug all the time and always show each other affection - and then tried to portray that, hoping that it wasn't that sort of approach to love that ruined their relationship and, in turn, might ruin mine and Dylan's.

I laughed a little and shook my head. "Joking! I love you too, Dylan." Despite his bad lip, I gently kissed Dylan and then raised my eyebrow at him. "Now I'm assuming back the fact that you're carrying me like this that you're taking me somewhere, so may I ask where you are taking me?"
