"Well I'm not going to let her lay a finger on you!" Joe's voice had raised a little to become arguementative, so he took a deep breath to correct it, replacing the harsh tones with softer ones. "Look, don't care about my safety, I can handle this fine. You should worry about your own safety." Although, he had never had anyone want to protect him since he had turned sadistic as a child... But no, he wouldn't let Lilly risk her own life for him.

I awoke the next morning and instantly smiled upon seeing Jet sleeping beside me. He looked so peaceful when sleeping! It was adorable! Anyway I wasn't wearing anything - except my deer necklace - so I quickly hopped out of bed, trying not to jog the bed too much and wake up Jet, and threw on the first clothes I saw in the drawers: My pair of denim short shorts which I hardly ever wore and an orange strapless top with an angel wing design on the back and the word 'Angel' written across the front - I didn't bother with sandals because I wasn't going outside yet. Once I had thrown my dirty clothes back into the hamper, I clambered back into bed to watch Jet sleep.

((That's a very Yuffie-esque outfit, Bex. Apart from the that that she forgot the headband and the boots. Lol XD I thought I'd wear something different for a change. Besides, I had promised Jet the shorts and the strapless tops goes well with it Very Happy

Joe rolled his eyes, getting pretty annoyed at Lilly now. "Oh yeah? Well this is what I do! I protect those who are important to me and I kill those who aren't, so please let me go about my buisness by protecting you and killing - or rather, banishing - that thing!"

Jet- I stir a bit and Bex climbs back into bed and open my eyes a little. I smile faintly kiss her cheek. Hello beautiful. You look nice. I sit up, the covers falling off my chest. Hmm... No change of clothes... Whatever. I'll just wear what I wore yesterday. I stand up, grabbing my pants and putting them on before returning to the bed and lying over the covers, my head propped up by my elbow and smiling at Bex.

Joe nodded and returned to his spell book. He flipped through until he got to the banishing spell and began to chant in the ancient druid language of his ancestors, hoping the spell would work and that he would be able to save Lilly from this potential danger.

"Good morning, and thanks." I replied, grinning like a chesire cat. "You don't look too bad yourself, I'm loving the topless look." I giggled a little and gave Jet a quick kiss, placing a hand on his chest. I then pulled back and assessed his hair. It wasn't in it's usually spikes now, it was quite messy, but it still looked ok. "Your hair's a little messed up though." I commented, faking a frown. "You don't look so hot without them." That was a joke, Jet always looked hot, whether he had spikey-ish hair or not :3

Joe looked up from the spell book and the ghost was gone... But so was Lilly. "Lilly?" He called out confusedly. Hang on, didn't he see her go upstairs? Yeah, at least Joe thought she went upstairs. Joe decided to follow in case the ghost hadn't been banished - he didn't want Lilly out of his sight if there was a chance that the ghost could attack again.

I laughed at Jet when he done the strong guy poses - though in all honestly, I was just trying to stop myself from drooling at the sight of his muscles flexing XD - and nodded. "Yeah, I'm a little hungry." I admitted. "What's on the menu today, chef Jet?"
