Joe saluted Lilly, messing around. "Yes ma'am, I'll be on my best behaviour ma'am." He chuckled and then started walking off to the East with Tifa. "I don't know." He answered with a shrug. "Are there any shops she likes to visit? Maybe she went in there."

Vincent rolled his eyes and took Lilly's hand, leading her north before starting to answer her question. "Well she's about 6 years old and up to here on me." He gestured with his claw roughly waist height. "She has brown hair in a braid, usually with a pink ribbon in it, and she has brown eyes."

Cloud searched through the town centre, knowing that Marlene couldn't have gotten too far away... Or at least hoping she hadn't.

"Oh... Ok..." Joe rethought again, placing a hand on his chin. "Maybe she just got lost or something." He loked down at Denzel and asked. "Where were you when you realised Marlene went missing?"

Vincent nodded and continued to search.

Cloud put on the brakes and the bike skidded to a stop. He quickly jumped off and walked over to the pink bow on the road. It was deffinately Marlene's. He pulled his phone out again and called Tifa to tell her the news.

Tifa took the phone out of her pocket,she picked it up "Cloud?"

Denzel said "In an allyway near the house.Red knights were after us so,somehow she must have hid somewhere or just got cought"

lilly: she looked around "marlene!?"

Oh ya,forgot,sorry XD oh and tommrow i wont be on cause im going to a amusement park!

"Tifa, I've found Marlene's bow, but she's not in sight." Cloud told the barmaid, looking around briefly to double check. Nope, no sign of the little girl.

Joe's eyes widened. "Crap." He muttered under his breath. "That mean's she's been taken to HQ where she'll be..." Without waiting for Tifa and Denzel, Joe changed directions, heading south towards the Red knights' headquarters. Behind him he commanded "Call Vincent, tell him to tell Lilly they're at HQ!"

Vincent searched around, remaining silent so that he could focus better.

lilly sighed "I feel like a shrimp just looking at these buildings" she mind messaged Joe 'anything yet?'

Tifa's eyes widen "Cloud,I want you to stay where you are,dont move untill I call you back" she hung up and called Vincent

Denzel yelled "What!?"

Cloud obeyed Tifa, knowing that if he didn't, she'd give him a lecture about it later. He cut off his engine and waited for Tifa to phone him back.

Vincent raised an eyebrow at Lilly. "You feel like a sea creature?" He asked confusedly, but was interrupted by his phone ringing. He instantly answered Tifa's call. "Have you found her?" He asked the martial artist.

Joe continued running back towards HQ, hoping he got there in time.

"No,but Joe said that she is at the Red Knights HQ" Tifa said "I told cloud to wait for us.He had said he found her bow and now we have to go.So lets go meet up with him."

lilly heard,since her hearing is good "HQ huh?Time for mine and Joes time to shine" she smiled "the plan would work great." She looked at vincent and waited for him to finish

"Where is Cloud?" Vincent asked, listening very closely to every bit of detail.

Joe walked into headquarters and was greeted by the remaining Red Knights - 5 to be exact, excluding Joe. 'Hey Joe, where's you girlfriend?' One had asked curiously. "She'll be back in a minute." Joe replied with a smirk. "I heard you brought back a little girl. Show her to me." The Red Knight nodded and led Joe to the cells in which they kept hostages.

Lilly: "ill be back" she told vincent and dissapeared,she appeared in the HQ "Um Joe,should I take care of this?" she looked towards a elevator that led to the top where u see everything.

wait,for now u got marlene,then after that we'll switch

"Ok, I'll be there in a second." He told Tifa. He closed his phone and rushed towards the road that Cloud was waiting in.

Cloud waited for the others to arrive.

Joe thought for a moment and then whispered. "Yeah. If you take Marlene, I'll deal with the Red Knights, ok?" Joe looked over to the little girl in a cell and casted her a wicked glance - acting so that the Red Knights wouldn't suspect a thing.

Marlene cowered back in her cell a little. "Cloud, Tifa, where are you?" She asked a-loud, though she knew they'd be unable to hear her.

lilly walked over to the cell and opened the door,she picked marlene up,and walked towards the elevator,she wispered in her ear "its okay,Tifa and cloud are comeing for you,But,just dont say anything till we get outside" she hopped she wasnt stopped from going into the elevator

Cloud picked up the phone again. "Any more news?" He asked.

Marlene nodded, seeing that this woman was nice and trusting her.

'J-Joe. Where are you taking her?' Yet another Red Knight had asked him. "Home." Joe replied, quickly chanting a fire spell on each of the Red Knights. 2 mangaged to put out the fire and sent a lightning bolt at Joe, shocking him. But Joe wasn't dead yet, so he made the remaining 2's hearts shrink into nothing and they died on the spot. Joe ran up the stairs, trying to catch up with the elevator.

Vincent spotted Cloud and slowed his run into a walk. He did not greet the spikey haired man though, for he was on the phone.

"Well.Im on my way and Lilly went with Joe to the HQ to get Marlene.Im not sure whats going on but,I hope they're okay" Tifa said as she broke into a run,denzel followed behind

Lilly looked at the elevater pad and seen it stopped outside.she got out "alright,hold on tight marlene" she took a bomb out of her pocket,and timed it for 10 seconds,she threw it in the elevator as the elevator went down and fast "c'mon joe"

"Ok, we better tell them to meet us somewhere... Unless you want to go to thw headquarters to see Marlene." Cloud looked over to Vincent, giving him a look that asked if the gunslinger knew where the HQ was.

Vincent nodded slightly.

Marlene gripped on to Lilly for dear life.

Joe heard a beeping noise a glared into the air. "A bomb wasn't neccessary, Lilly." He said when he reached the top. "All the Red Knights are dead now, there was no need to blow up the building!"

Cloud shut his phone and nodded. "Ok then, we'll wait here." He then turned to Vincent. "How will they get back?"

"Probably by flying." Vincent answered, knowing that they'd take him seriously - Vincent never made a joke, therefore they always took him seriously.

Joe rolled his eyes and levitated into the air. "Whatever." He muttered.

Marlene looked over to Joe with slightly scared eyes. He was wearing a Red Knight badge, which meant he was one of them, didn't it? So if Lilly was helping the bad guy, that meant she was the bad guy too! 'Please let me be wrong.' She thought.

Cloud glanced over at Tifa with an 'Is he ok? He's not drunk or anything, is he?' look in his eyes.

Joe looked down at his shirt and noticed the badge. "Whoops." He said, quickly taking the thing off and dropping down to earth. "All better."

Marlene breathed a sigh of relief, glad that they weren't the bad guys, but still, who were they? And how did they know Cloud and Tifa?

((Gah! Why do I always have to be in a near death experience in these fanfics?! I dunno, maybe people are weird and like to see you amost die. Gee, thanks -_-))

Tifa looked up and seen them "well look at that,Vincent was right"

Denzel yelled "Marlene!!"

Marlene looked down and spotted her family. Her smile grew and she felt safe once more. "Tifa! Cloud! Denzel!" She exclaimed happily as she waited to be taken down to the ground.

Cloud allowed himself a little smile as he spotted Marlene.

Joe grinned like a chesire cat. For once he had done something good, and it felt kind of nice.

Vincent's eyes studied Joe for a second before he suddenly said "Hm. I guess some people can change."
