Sammi grinned slightly, pulling the strings on the back of Chloe's dress - it was set up to be like a corset. Unfortunately for the copper haired girl, out of Sammi's excitement, she pulled it a little too tight. 'Jesus Christ Sam! You tryna stop me breathing?!' She exclaimed, but recovered quickly. After tying the strings into a bow at the bottom, she walked to the door, opening it, and biting her lip at the sight before her. From behind the blonde came snickering, which soon turned to giggles, 'Oh my gosh!' Chloe laughed at Jason. "Don't be so rude!" She managed to scold her friend. Leah had headed back up to her room since she had left her shoes up there, and Ryker would be picking her up from her room. 'You look great Jason!' Chloe teased light heartedly.

"I don't look great, I look f***ing ridiculous." I grumbled as I started at my feet, scuffing the shiny black shoes against the floor. As I looked up and took in Chloe's dress, though, I couldn't help but smirk, trying to hold back my laughter. "You tease me about my outfit, but have you seen yourself? You look like a tangerine!" My chuckle got me whacked in the head by Jer, which hurt, but I guess I deserved that. 'Ignore him, you look amazing. You too, Sammi.' With the attention returned to my fiancée, I looked her up and down, checking her out while she worre her dress. "He's right, babe, you looking... Amazing. Poofy, but amazing. Not sure how we're gonna get this off later though." Giving Sammi a suggestive wink, I leaned in and pressed a kiss to her soft lips, only pulling away very reluctantly when Jer cleared his throat. 'Well, I'd love to see you two make out in the doorway all day, but I've actually gotta escort Cat so... I'll see you guys later.' With that, Jer went next door to Cat's room, while I stepped just inside of mind and Sammi's bedroom and looked at the two ladies in the room. "So are you two ready to go now, or do you have things to do?" I asked as my hand rested on my girl's lower back. Damn it, I couldn't even touch her *ss thanks to that poofy dress! This evening was already turning out lame for me!

Sammi shook her head while Chloe spoke. 'Nope, Sammi and her best friend the tangerine are completely done.' Chloe rolled her eyes and started to walk outside of Sammi's room. 'I'll see you down there, I'd rather not be around you two if you're gonna be all kissy and blech.' She stated and started to go downstairs towards the ballroom. Sammi frowned a little at Chloe. "We'll deal with the dress later tonight, I'm sure I'll think of something." She smirked, "So, are we heading down or not?" She smiled.

Jack had made sure Luna had eaten some dinner before he got ready for the ball. The suit he was wearing was tailor made by an old friend. It was nice when some people never stopped believing. He decided against a mask, he never liked them. After he had dressed and fixed his hair, well, just ruffled it a bit really. He decided he looked fine. He walked up the stairs, all the way to the top. It felt strange to wear shoes, since he rarely did, but he did need to have the full attire. After reaching the top floor, he found Alex's room and knocked on the door in an almost melodic way.

Starting to write up posts for the ball since I may as well ^_^

"College, huh?" Who'd have thought that Rose would apply for college? I mean, the other day she said she'd rather wait around at home and miss me than get a job and now college. Wait a sec, college! Zack, then Trent and now... No, she wouldn't go all the way to California and leave me, right? No, she couldn't, sh-she couldn't just... Just abandon me like that! "You're applying to the college here, right?" Even though it was a question, it probably sounded like a demand, but could you blame me when I was possibly about to lose another person? "You're not gonna travel out of state, or go any further than two towns over?" I could feel my hands, still locked around Rose's waist, shaking. Why was I shaking? I wasn't that broken, was I?

O...K... Maybe I had been too harsh on Chloe? Or something was up, because she sure didn't take to my teasing, or me and Sammi doing, like, normal couple stuff. Did Chloe even wanna be here? I tried to shake off the bad, kinda guilty feeling I had as I nodded in answer to my girl's question. "Yeah, sure, lets go and show off my silly outfit to the rest of the mansion." Well, at least there'd be food, that was a plus side to this whole thing, I guess. Plus, Sammi did look amazing in that dress, even if it was less showy than I would've liked. Smiling a little at my girl as I kept that the more positive thoughts in mind, I kissed her cheek and, with a simple, "Lets go, Miss Phoenix." I started leading her down into the ballroom. Thankfully not many people were here yet, but that music was already playing, so I took advantage of the opportunity, trying to be at least a little romantic as I asked, "Would you care for a dance, my lady?" In the most stuck up, formal voice I could muster.

Sammi also frowned a little, she did know that Chloe still hated couple-y stuff, she was still trying to get over Charlie and being here brought back memories. She joined Jason as they entered the ballroom. She grinned a little as her fiance asked her to dance. The only thing he could do to be more old fashioned would be to actually bow as he asked. She took his hand, "I would love to dance," She answered in a voice with almost the same stuck-up, formal voice, deciding to play along with the act.

Oh gosh, I shouldn't have asked Sammi to dance, because now I actually had to dance with her and the only dancing I knew was the kind of dirty dancing you'd find in clubs. Nope, definitely couldn't do that here. So... Now what? What did they do in the movies? Oh yeah, I remembered, kinda. One hand took Sammi's and held it our, while my other hand rested on my girl's waist. Then I stepped forward, causing her to step back and we started dancing. It was probably clumsy-looking, not very fluid in motion and, well, really bad in general, but hey, at least I was trying, right? "So, uh, what's up with Chloe?" I asked Sammi ince I was a little more confident with my feet. "I mean, I was only teasing her because she teased me but she seemed to take it seriously. Is she ok, babe? Should I apologise to her later?"

Jeremy had offered to to take Catherine to the ball, which meant that she had been spending the past hour or so getting ready. She had made a few adjustments to her dress, making it more modern, which included cutting the long sleeves off and making it strapless. She added some shiny stuff too, although not too much. Some of her lessons as a princess actually helped her. She had been able to alter her dress and stitch up the rips. She looked at herself in the mirror, knowing that Jeremy could be here at any time now, so she sat waiting at the vanity, having her make up already done.

Sammi moved with Jason, being slightly more graceful with how she danced, just being naturally skilled. "She's still really iffy and emotional. I think being here reminds her of being with Charlie, so she's quite tense. Well, that's my theory at least." She shrugged ever so slightly and continued to move in time to the music. "And I think she's only reverting to teasing and sarcasm to cover up." She explained her hypothesis, with a slight frown on her face. She did feel sorry for Chloe, after all, she would be with Jason all night and Leah with Ryker, so she would be left alone. Or with that Thorn girl.

"Oh, I see." Not really, I mean, my frown turned from one of guilt to one of confusion. "not that I know much about your friends-" I kinda zoned out sometimes when she went on about them. "But wasn't Chloe the one to break up with Charlie? So shouldn't that mean that she'd be happy not to have to deal with him anymore?" I asked my fiancée as I spun her around, then brought her closer to me to continue dancing; I was following her lead a little, even though I wasn't meant to, because I didn't know what I was doing. It wasn't as if I was trying to gossip or anything, I was just trying to understand a woman's... Incredibly complicated mind.

So Sammi, Jason and co had already gone downstairs andI was just checking my suit again outside of Cat's door. I dunno why I was trying to look perfect - it wasn't as if I was on a date with the 17 year old - but I still found myself being fussy over my appearance. Maybe because I hadn't be to anything this formal before besides a couple weddings? Actually, weddings probably weren't even as formal as this! Once I was sure that my appearance was suitable for an event fit for royalty, I took a deep breath and knocked in the door. "Cat, are you done yet?" Even though the lack of movement from hehind the door tomd me she was ready, I had to double check, just in case.

Sammi nodded as they moved, trying not to be too dominant in the dancing, since it was usually the male that did that. In more ways than one. "Yeah, but I think she's regretting it. Like, really regretting it. Plus, from what I know and heard, Charlie's moved on," She had heard that he and Mandie had headed off to California or somewhere for Vidcon or something. She loved listening to other's conversations and rumors. It was always quite interesting.

Cat heard Jeremy;s voice and brushed her fringe back slightly as she stood up. She felt kind of awkward about this whole escort thing, she could have easily gone by herself, it wouldn't have bothered her. She was glad to be going to a ball where she wasn't going to be the centre of attention. "Ready as ever." She smiled as she opened the door, pleased to see him. "It'll be nice to go to a ball without having to act like a complete princess." She realised what she said and remembered that Jeremy didn't know her little secret. "It's hard to act like a normal teenager with strict parents there." She rolled her eyes a little as she shut her door behind her.

"I'm not scared." Denial of weakness was a reflex for me, but I guess it was pretty obvious that I was scared - terrified, even - of losing the last person (excluding animals) that I really cared about. If that happened, geez, I probably would go out and find a vampire hunter to kill me, rather than just daydreaming about it occassionally. Better to be dead than to be left to suffer through the pain, right? And there'd be one less monster in the world, too. Heaving a sigh at that depressing thought, I turned my head to kiss Rose's palm, murmuring a, "Just making sure you don't stray too far away from me, is all." Before kissing my girlfriend and spinning her back around so that she could get on with her application. "So what exactly are you planning to study in college?" I asked curiously as I played with Rose's tail, curious as to what academic stuff she was into since I had absolutely no idea.

Rose forced herself back around when Abby turned her in the first place "Being a nurse. I know it doesnt seem all that cool with the way I am and all but I'm planning to work as a nurse with kids. Like the ones with cancer and all that." she smiled softly "They'd love me."
