Re: The House Of Immortality
Anna likes to sing, Elsa's been reluctant to sing, much to Wolfie's dismay :/ You can get a karaoke machine if you want, I just doubt Elsa would use it unless she was... I dunno, bribed or hyper :S What're you thinking about getting for them present-wise? I think I'm gonna buy them both phones so that they can contact me or each other or other people easily. *Shrugs.* I'll probably have to explain to them how to use the phones, but I think it'd be a worthwhile gift.

Ah, we may need to get Elsa hyper then. Or just tell Anna to drag her along.*chuckles* Phones? That sounds like a good idea. Not sure how Anna would react to texting though.I.. actually wanted to get them matching lockets with a family photo in them.

Re: The House Of Immortality
A family photo? *Frowns a little.* That'll be tough. That would require writing to Arendelle castle asking for photographs of the royal family, if any even exist after the fire :/ It might just be easier to get one photo of their parents and one photo of them, I mean, I can take a photo of the former King and Queen, and I'm sure you could get a photo of the two sisters together without them figuring out what you're doing. As for getting Elsa hyper, proceed with caution. I wont stop you - I'm pretty curious about the outcome, actually - but if Elsa does something she regrets when the sugar rush disappears, you'll be in big trouble with her :S

Re: The House Of Immortality
Well I've never tried it, actually, but it's worth a shot, I mean, I show up in pictures and I'm technically dead in a way, so... Yeah... It's worth trying, though and, if that doesn't work... I don't know, maybe Yuffie could help get pictures from the castle. It wouldn't be as good as Elsa or Anna writing a letter asking for them, but Yuffie's our best option besides the girls.

Re: The House Of Immortality
Well, there's the commoner thing, and there's the fact that the people at the castle don't even know who we are, or that we're dating their royalty so... Yeah... But yeah, we'll figure out a way to make it all work out :)Now I believe you have to go and tell Anna something about college? The reason why you were all cheery earlier? :PI don't have a pen and paper on hand right now, so the next time Wolfie sees you, I'll ask her to give you my number. Does that sound cool?

I have the opposite issue: My hair is too short so I can only do a tiny, pointless plait. I struggle messing with hair when I can't see what I'm doing anywho, so I usually just plait my frimge when I'm bored.

Re: The House Of Immortality
Just in case I fall asleep soon:
Yet another day of interviewing potential teachers for the school. I had been doing this for a week now, away from the mansion, but I had come up empty handed. Most of the teachers seemed to be either not qualified enough or simply wanted the job so that they could uncover the mansion's secrets. This was proving to be more tiresome than I had anticipated, but I still had high hopes that, by the time September came, we'd have the school open and running, even if I had to teach a few lessons myself. Setting down the CVs on the large oak desk in my office, I sat back in my chair and glanced towards the one of the few portraits of James and I that hung on the wall. "Your dream is coming true, my love." I told the painting, a small part of me wondering if I was even allowed to call him that, now that Daniel and I were some form of a couple. "I hope you are proud of what I have accomplished in your name. The James Knight Academy will give our younger residents a shining future, no matter who or what they are."
"Yeah, you sound really sick. And you're really hot." I smirked at the double meaning. Let Trent make of that what he will; considering the fact that he was actually just a little warm in temperature, he'd probably take it the other way. Letting out a sigh, I sat up in the bed, running my hand through my hair before grabbing Trent's phone. "I don't know, Trenton, maybe you should just stay at home today, if you're not feeling well. Instead of really hard algebra, we can study video games instead. Now, should I phone the school or should you?" Even if he wanted me to phone the school, apparently - I discovered as I clicked a button on his shiny, fancy phone - I wouldn't be able too. Stupid password. What? Was he worried that someone would see his texts to his mommy or something?
Again she was doing something that I was shocked about. I guess I just didn't know how to act around Nat now; I didn't know what would be the right thing to do and what would be the wrong thing to do and apparently what I thought would be wrong was perfectly ok in Nathalie's books. I gave me a small bit of hope that, I don't know, maybe things could be at least a little bit like they used to be. Sure I wouldn't be able to kiss her, and maybe not hug her for, like, a week, maybe less, but this was a start, at least. Smiling down at Nathalie's hand, my confidence restore a bit, I nodded and took it gently. "Sure, I'll lead the way. It's not very far away, so it wont take long." I told Nat as we left the room, me closing the door behind us. I led us outside, then began walking down the little driveway that connected the mansion to the world surrounding the forest. "So, if you don't mind my asking, how do you remember me?" I asked curiously. "Did you figure it out from the drawings you've been doing or did you wake up and just suddenly remember a few things about me?"
"Her day has been teaching me. It's all we've done. Study study study." Hope piped up, running to the bathroom - jumping over a sleeping Snowball in the process - and grabbing a wet washcloth and soap, trying to be helpful for her sister and her boyfriend. "But, I learnt lots of cool things! Kiara even taught me some Shakespeare but that's really hard because they speak weird." She told Kodi as she lathered the washcloth with the soap. As she tried to reach up to his face though, Hope realised she could only reach his chin, causing her to pout. "One day I'll be tall enough." She muttered as she reluctantly handed the washcloth to Kiara and went to put the soap back and grab a towel for Kodi.
"I was teaching her about A Midsummer Night's Dream." I continued for Hope as I started washing Kodi's face for him, trying to bite back the temptation to tease him about how childish this must've looked; me washing a grown man's face for him. "I figured I should start somewhere and figured that A Midsummer Night's Dream was the safest route, since Romeo and Juliet included death." I didn't exactly want to expose Hope to those kind of things yet so, for now, I was steering away from the most famous tragic love story of all time. "It's a pretty funny story, actually; it's one of my favourite Shakespearean plays." Once I was sure the grease was all gone, I exchanged the washcloth for a towel with Hope and handed it to my boyfriend. It seemed as if washing his face wasn't enough though - his hair looked pretty greasy and there were black stains on his shirt. "You might as well just take a shower, Kodi. No offense, but you could really do with one." And then I'd set Hope some homework to do in her own room, then Kodi and I could spend some much-needed alone time together.
Kimmy: I heard Denzel call back, 'Yes please, sweetie-pie!' and I couldn't help but laugh a little at his weird nickname. "I'll have some Coca cola too, please." I added as I pulled the candy out of the shopping bag and ate a handful of it - might as well start the sugar rush now. Denzel came back then and seemed to start working on our dinner, kissing Sierra's cheek as he passed her; awwww, I really needed a man! Hopping up onto the barstool closest to my buddy, I stretched my arms over my head and asked, "So, what's in the agenda tonight? Scary movies? Singing crazy songs? Dancing, like in the good old days?" Yup! Back when we were younger, Sierra and I did a lot of dancing. I was never as good as her, but that didn't mean that I couldn't keep up! And we always had fun dancing so maybe we could do it again, unless we were too old for that now... Oh who was I kidding? You're never to old to dance and have fun!
He loved it! Thank gosh! Now I didn't have to worry about getting Kyle a present until christmas! And by then I'd have enough money for a double bed! I thought... How much did a double bed cost anyway? Shaking that thought off for now, I hugged Kyle and nuzzled his neck with a, "You're welcome! Oh! And there might be cake later; I might get Natty to help me make a cake for you." I really needed to stop making cakes for Kyle, I mean, he had one for Valentines Day, too, but licking the bowl was soooo much fun! Hang on, this wasn't about me having fun. It was Kyle's day, he should be the one having fun today! "So, Mr Satina-" I had an itch on my ear, so I quickly used my foot to scratch it, then shook my head really fast, instantly regretting it when I felt dizzy. "Is there anything you'd like to do today? Anything at all?"
I think the shrinking dragon-dog into a normal dog was the tip of the iceberg for me. My jaw dropped, my eyes widening into a shocked expression. 'What, you think that you're dreaming this up or something?' Yes, yes I was. I had to be, right? But she said that this was real, but it couldn't be real, but... What the heck was going on?! "A-America." Was the only answer I could choke out to Carrie's question, my mind struggling to process it all. I needed to call Kagami and- no, she'd never believe me. I needed to call my dad and ask if I could come home, because I thought I was going crazy. I should probably call Patty too, to double check that America really didn't have dragons living in it - if they did, surely she must've seen one within the 15-ish years she lived there! My hand slowly reaching towards the pocket with my phone in it, I rose to my feet, pretending that everything was ok. "Well, I should probably, uh, head back to that building we flew past because that's where I'm meant to be staying, so... See you around." Or not, I couldn't stay here while my sanity was slipping! Maybe there was such thing as playing too many video games! Grabbing my suitcase, I speed walked through the forest, avoiding sprinting so that it didn't look too obvious, then pulled out my phone once I was sure I was out of sight/ I just hoped I got signal here...
We headed to town soon after i had grabbed my bag and as we reached the first shops, Chloe spoke up. "Don't worry, I'm completely up for a long night of drinking, dancing and flirting." It was rare that I let myself go, but it was healthy to do so every now and then so that was what I was doing tonight. "You've been here longer than I have; do you know any good bars?" I asked, glancing at Chloe's outfit again. She really did look great in that outfit. It was kind of a shame that our relationship seemed as if it'd only ever amount to friendly flirting but, I don't know, maybe getting into a relationship wasn't a good idea for me anyway; too much hassle, too much drama and if I was leaving soon there'd be no point in making any solid relationships here anyway.
Wait, Yuffie had been right? I saw her smirk grow, confirming that and I had to fight even harder not to blush as the mental image of my sister was being completely destroyed by her 'Making out' with Justin. "Uh, y-yeah, sure, I-I mean if you want to go and find him, go ahead." I stuttered out tucking some loose hair behind my ear. "I'll just, uh... I'll go and track down Kennedy." If anything could get rid of the images, it was a long conversation with Kennedy about, well, babies and life in general. She was actually a great conversationalist; I could see why Elsa liked to hang out with her. 'I'll join you, too.' Yuffie said, her smirk being replaced with a smile. 'I wanna see how she's doing, anyways.' 'Kenny! I want Kenny!' It seemed as if Sora wanted to see her, too, so that settled things fairly easy. "Alright, we'll go and search for her." After giving Elsa a quick goodbye hug, Yuffie, Sora and I started walking down the hall again, calling, "Have fun, Elsa!" Behind my back, which was then followed by, 'But not too much fun!' Yuffie, don't imply such things to my sister! I didn't even want to think about her doing those kind of things!
I had been trying to find Elsa but my attempts were in vain. I tried the living room, kitchen, rec room, her room, Anna's room, the garden, library, even the ballroom before I figured she probably went out with Anna and Yuffie, which was great because she needed some sister-friend bonding time, I just hadn't seen a lot of her lately, probably because it was really awkward trying to do anything even remotely boyfriend-girlfriend-ish with her in Anna's body. Oh well, I guess I'd see her eventually. Anyway, by the time I had finished my search, I realised that my stomach was rumbling a little. I guess I had walked around so much that I had worked up an appetite. It was this need for food that led me back to the kitchen and I instantly whipped up a tray of nachos for me to eat. As I placed them in the oven though, I realised something: Now I had to wait 5 minutes for the grated cheddar to melt. So hungry...
"Wait, do we need the experience or the dog?" I joked, noticing how she was steering me directly towards the ice cream truck now; I guess she wanted ice cream. "But ok, Freddie it is, as long as they don't mind, of course." Was Freddie a guy or a girl? I didn't know, so I went with 'They' instead of 'He' or 'She' just to be on the safe side. "I just hope Tucker behaves while we're out because if he causes trouble, we'll be in trouble too." My free hand reached over to scratch the pup's head before I dug into the pocket of my shorts and pulled out my wallet. "Now, Darlin', what kind of ice cream would you like me to buy you? \One scoop? Two scoops? Maybe one of those ice creams with the little chocolate flake in the top?"
I failed to suppress a shudder as Samuel's hands travelled down the length of my back, and when he kissed me, I melted into his touch, my lips responding eagerly but gently as I enjoyed the moment. And then the moment was completely destroyed by the mention of his mother. As much as I wanted to get along with Gwyneth Newkirk, I couldn't. I just couldn't have that mother-in-law-daughter-in-law relationship you saw in movies when she made Samuel go through so much sexual abuse just so that she could have more friends! It took all I had in me to not growl as Sam spoke about her, and when he finished, I could only mutter, "Trust me, her sitting near my family is the least of your worries." The possibility of her sitting me was, because so help me if she did anything to try and make Sam 'Visit' some of her friends... Taking a deep breath, I tried to push those thoughts out of my mind so that I could calm down. It took a moment or two, but eventually I relaxed and snuggled into my fiancé's arms. "If you want her sitting far away from my family, then that's fine with me. It'd probably be for the best but, to be honest, I don't think she could poison their view of you. All that should matter to my family on our wedding day is my happiness, and I'm more than happy with you so they shouldn't think badly of you."
Yet another day of interviewing potential teachers for the school. I had been doing this for a week now, away from the mansion, but I had come up empty handed. Most of the teachers seemed to be either not qualified enough or simply wanted the job so that they could uncover the mansion's secrets. - Jason's post:
- On the way home from work I stopped, turned and started walking the other way a lot, a part of me wanting to go home and see my girl, another part of me wanting to run away. It wasn't that I didn't want to marry Sammi, I really did - I know, I even surprise myself by saying that - but when your best friend has two amazing relationships destroyed by engagement, you can't help but worry that the same could happen to you, like engagements were jinxed or something. I was scared to take the risk of losing Sammi, I mean, I'd be crushed if I lost her and I'd never be able to find a smart gamer girl who's into all kinds of fading and all kinds of alcohol so why risk losing my dream girl and getting my heart broken by proposing?
Even though I was scared - terrified, even - I found myself outside the door of our shared bedroom. I guess I had been walking forward more than I had been walking backwards. Now I was frozen outside the room, caught in between wanting to go inside and wanting to go back to the jewellery store. It wasn't too late to do that. I'm sure the jewellery store would give me back my money, and then I could keep living in this happy, non-marital relationship with Sammi and pretend this never even happened, but then not only would I be a coward, but I'd probably never work up the courage to propose again, regret it forever and leave Sammi wondering if she'd have a family until she eventually gives up on me and breaks up with me. Oh gosh, no matter which option I chose it could end badly! But... At least the engagement could only possibly mess things up with us, not definitely like the other option.
Oh gosh, I couldn't believe I was actually doing this. Me, Jason 'Sex King' Jenkins, was actually gonna propose. I doubted much would change between us if we got married - although I did hear that there was less fading in a married life, which really sucked (Gosh, I hoped that wasn't true!!!) - but it was still a huge step for the both of us and I was taking that step right now. Right over the threshold of our room.
"Hey babe, I'm home." I told Sammi as I closed the door behind me, trying to play it cool for now even though my heart was beating a mile a minute. My incredibly sexy girlfriend was on the bed with Yuki, playing with the black cat after what was probably a stressful day at school. Clambering onto the bed beside the two, I pressed a kiss to my girl's cheek, then her shoulder before asking, "Dare I ask how your exam went? Was it ok or was it too terrible to even mention?" As I waited for an answer, I slipped a sweaty hand into my pocket, gripping the little ring box in the hopes that doing so would steady the shaking at least a little bit.
Wait, Yuffie had been right? I saw her smirk grow, confirming that and I had to fight even harder not to blush as the mental image of my sister was being completely destroyed by her 'Making out' with Justin.

I'm shit at plaiting my hair anyway and it just makes me upset when I can't do it. It's basically the drawing problem all over again. Anyway, I'm gonna go to bed, I've not exactly had the greatest day of my life despite sue bringing me some awesome films.

See ya, Matio
*Is in bed uneer the covers, still with a half eaten box of hocolates. When she hears Matio at the door, she instantly sits up and tries to make it look as if shehadn't been moping for two whole days.* Come in! *Puts the chocolates on the bench at the end of the bed, then realises that her hair is a mess. After quickly dashing to the vanity, she grans her hairbrush and tries to attack the 'Lion's mane' of hair.*

Re: The House Of Immortality
Really? What do you have to tell me? *Fixes her hair, leaving it down, then looks to Matio, realising that he was upset. This in turn made her upset too, expecting some sort of tale about how Matio wouldn't even be able to make it back for the weekends when he went to college. Despite already guessing the cause of his sadness, she still asks,* What's wrong? Did something happen?

Re: The House Of Immortality
I hate when that happens :/
And I just discovered that I don't have college next week or the week after. I didn't realise half term+study leave was that close! I'mma have to tell my parents later, even though it's really short notice ^_^"
