I guess you could say that I was in the competition now - wait, no, this wasn't a competition, and she certainly wasn't a prize to be won. Ok, let's start again!

I guess you could say that, even though I stood absolutely no chance, I was at least going to try to impress Elsa now. I guess hearing her say that she actually had some feelings for me - it still shocked and confused me that she could actually fall for someone as average as me when she herself was far from average - kinda acted like a kick in the rear, telling me that even if I didn't like risking conflict and making people upset, I couldn't just sit around and do nothing, knowing that this was the first time I'd ever been attracted to someone. At this rate, though, trying wouldn't really help me at all; I had no flirting skills, no knowledge on what women liked, and even reading Elsa's thoughts didn't help because I don't think even she knew what she liked. Dare I say it, I needed a woman's advice to help me. The thought of going to Cassy during my hour break terrified me - she'd just constantly tease me about my first crush - and going to mom wouldn't be much better - I felt like she'd ask about future grandchildren - so the only other girl I could really turn to was Lilly, which wasn't actually that bad, because Lilly was too nice to tease anyone... I think... Well, there was only one way to find out, I guess. Taking a deep breath as I stood in front of her mansion, I knocked on the door and took a step back, rubbing the back of my neck nervously as I waited for her to open up.

"I don't need snacks, Lilly, but thank you for the offer." I answered as I stepped inside, closing the door behind me. It was still weird for me to think of Lilly as my sister, having served the royal family for 8 - almost 9 - years now, and therefore it was still hard for me to drop all formality with her. Sure, I had never been entire formal with her anyway, but calling her Lilly instead of Ma'am was still odd... Anyway, my mind was drifting away from the reason I came here! Snapping my attention back to my Princess half-sister, I ran my hand through my hair, then folded my arms across my chest, looking down at my shoes. "Actually, no, I'm not here to talk about the army-" Why would I even want to bring that up? Lilly knew how much I hated war and anything related to it! "I came here because, well... There's this girl, and I don't know how to impress her, so I thought, you know, you're a girl, you might have an idea as to what I could do." I bit my lip a little, glancing at Lilly nervously as I awaited her reaction and her wise answers.

It wont let me see it :/ *Is just thankful Wolfie has stopped trying to sing in Norwegian, and is now singing For The First Time In Forever in Norwegian as she listens to it.*

Anyway, so yesterday bob told me bout this event festival thing and that they're looking for performers. On their stats it only says bands so... I'm about to send them this message;

I heard about your event on 19/7 and am quite interested. However I'm not in a band; I am a 16 year old girl, I play guitar and sing. If you are looking for solo artists as well as bands then I will gladly come and play a few songs.

Does it sound alright? I've never had to do this before DX

Oh good gosh. It wasn't as bad as Cassy's reaction would've been, but the squealing and hugging still made me blush a light pink color. I allowed Lilly to drag me over to the couch and sat down as she told me to tell her all about what Elsa liked. Oh boy, out of all the thoughts and memories I had processed, not just in Elsa, but in several people throughout the past couple of days, Lilly wanted me to recall the things she liked? That was definitely like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Or, actually, several needles in a barn piled high with hay. "Uh, well..." I started, leaning forward with my elbows on my knees, my hands clasped together. "First thing's first, she's got this ice and snow magic, but I don't think she particularly likes it... Uhhh, she loves her sister to pieces, she loves chocolate. She's kind of serious and mature, but she does have a bit of a playful side and doesn't mind having a bit of fun." I smiled as more things came to mind. "She's not used to social situations - she's just getting used to socialising - I think she likes music because she tends to listen to it sometimes, she has read a lot of books over the years and... She likes feeling free. That probably wont make a lot of sense to you - it's a long story - but she likes that for once she doesn't have to worry about people's expectations, or what people would think of her magic and... Yeah... That's only a couple of the things she likes but, you know, hopefully that'll be enough to give you an idea of how I can impress her because... There's another guy who likes her too, and he's a lot better than me, so I'm going to have to impress her as much as possible." Monologue over, I looked at Lilly. She could probably see the worry in my face now, worry that I didn't even stand a chance with Elsa while Jack was around, but I just couldn't hide the fact that I was at a disadvantage here, I mean, he was the spirit of winter and I was... Just Justin...

Perhps you're right. I mean, formality is often rare these days and it shows that I'm polite for a teenager.
