I was woken up when something - or rather, someone - rolled onto my chest, and then soft lips were pressed to mine, making my eyes widen a little. Oh yeah. Lucy was back, and with me. "Hello, Lucy." I smiled now as I remembered what had happened yesterday. "Did you sleep well?"

"Ah, I see." So Cloud was a mecenary again. Hmmm... Vincent nether thought that Cloud would return to that job but, like Lilly said, they needed the money right now.

Something to do? But Tifa only usually ran the bar and acted like a mother, cooking and cleaning for her lazy children. "What do you have to do?" I asked curiously, moving Tifa's hair out of the way so that I could bravely rest my head on his shoulder.

"Oh, ok." I guess I'd let Tifa drag me wherever she wanted to take me, I wasn't really fussed about going places. Kissing Tifa's neck, I added, so apart from getting Denzel to ready for school, looking after Marlene, and running the bar, we have a nice slow day today, right?

"So what job are we doing tomorrow?" Vincent asked, wanting details on what they were doing."

"Good." I kissed Lucy's head and then looked over to Kiara, still sound asleep. "Our daughter looks adorable in her sleep, don't you think?" I asked Lucy, smiling affectionately in the direction of our little princess.
