Ooh! That was such a good question! And, to be honest, I'd been battling this question ever since I started wanting children so... For 3-ish years now? Maybe 2? I hadn't really thought of an answer until recently when I thought about jobs and stuff, but pursed my lips in thought just to make doubley sure that, well, I was sure. "I think I want to adopt first." I told the slightly panicky boyfriend I was sat on top of. "Specifically I wanna adopt from the same orphanage Luna and I come from. I mean, that place terrifies me, but if I could help a child escape... It'd be for the best." I'd be careful in choosing which hild, because I knew that Luna had a lot of enemies in there. There were some kids who stayed out of the bullying so I'd pick from those children. "And besides," I added with a smile, hoping that my smiley-ness would rub off on Kyle and calm him. "If we adopt someone who's old enough to go to school, you can keep working and I can probably find a job for during the weekday while the kid's at school."

So maybe not babysitting, then. Maybe on the weekends, or maybe I'll work two jobs, I mean, how hard could it be to look after both your own child and someone else's child in the afternoon? Especially if I had Kyle with me... Emphasis on the if because it looked like Kyle was ready to run away. "Come on, Kylie Kyle, it's gonna be ok. We can be a happy little family and Lulu will have a cousin in her daddy's side and there'll be playdates and games and allsorts! It'll be like being a kid again except, you know, having to actually look care of our child at the same time." I shrugged it off like it was nothing. If I could handle Lulu, I was pretty confident that I could handle my own kid, I just needed Kyle to have that confidence too.

*shifty eyes* No one. Or at least no one you'd really find interesting. *smirks and opens her mouth* Say anything and I'll blurt out your secret to everyone. ... *closes her mouth again*

Kyle: She could really tell I was nervous huh? Maybe it was too obvious. Yeah, that sounded like me. Almost as an instinct, I took her hand so that I didn't end up fidgeting too much. Okay, adoption first. I could handle that right? I wished I had Taylor's confidence, she knew what she wanted and she knew she was ready for this. I just didn't know if I was. Maybe I would feel more comfortable once we adopted. We would definitely have to mature a lot in such a short space of time, but if she was ready then surely I was too. Feeling calmer, I smiled at her. "Alright, so I know you said you want to do it soon, but how soon?"

He was on board with Operation Kylor Kid! I grinned, squeezing Kyle's hand as my tail wagged back and forth excitedly. "I'd like to do this within the next few months." I answered, then remembered that Sammi's wedding was coming up soon. "Or maybe in July so that becoming parents doesn't clash with Sammi's wedding too much." But then again, pregnancy gave us 9 months to prepare... Ooh, all this back and forth between answers! "But, you know, if you'd rather, like, wait a little longer than that, we could always have a child of our own." I pointed out, a little annoyed at my own indecisiveness but I really didn't mind what way we have a child first. "I mean, having a kid that's old enough for school right away isn't super important - Nathalie could always babysit for us if we have work and stuff to do - and we get 9+ months to plan and prepare for the baby." Then again, pregnancy would mean having my medications through an injection everyday, because I'd probably throw up the pills... I shrugged it off - I shrugged everything off and pressed a kiss to Kyle's temple. "In all honesty, I don't mind if we adopt first or I get pregnant first so... What would you prefer to do, Daddy Kyle?" It might've been too early to call him that, and it might've scared him a little more, but I couldn't resist! From this moment onwards 'Daddy Kyle' was a nickname that would never get old!
