The smile was fake... I think... Maybe. But there was deffinately somehing wrong with the smile because it didn't meet his big brown eyes. "Ok then, I guess if there's nothing confusing you then you wouldn't mind dating me." I countered skillfully. If Nick said no to dating me, then there was clearly a problem, if he said yes then there wasn't a confusing problem. Simple, but so easy to be caught out by sometimes.

As soon as I got back, Cloud had been waiting expectantly. Apperently he had heard yelling from outside abd spitted my running after Tifa from a window upstairs. Once I told him what had happened - minus the topic of the arguement since Tifa had to be the one to say it - and which direction Tifa went, he headed off, leavig me in the bar by myself... Time for alcohol!!!

Tanya- I watched him cook, my chin supported by my arms. You're good at that. When he finished a plate and passed it to me I started eating.

With his Mako enhanced senses, it didn't take Cloud long to find Tifa sitting on q metal bar on the outskirts of Edge. Slowly, he approached his childhood friend until he was standing in front of her. "Tifa?" Cloud's voice showed just a hint of the concern hewas feeling for Tifa. "Are you alright? Yuffie said you ran off because she accidentally saod something mean."

Cloud frowned a little but nodded in understanding. "Just ignore Yuffie. She speaks before she thinks. Whatever she said, I'm sure she didn't mean." He tried reassuring Tifa, though Cloud had never been good at socialising in any way.
