As I woke up if wasn't as light out as I thought it would be. It was more foggy then anything. It was either the early morning still of it was gonna rain soon which would ruin my plans of taking a few hours in the woods to stretch out my wings. I yawned and ruffled my hair and got out of bed and put on my older thin sweatshirt and headed downstairs to get some breakfast. As I walked downstairs I didn't see many people moving around unless they were still in their rooms sleeping or out somewhere but I went into the kitchen and pulled out the pancake since and a pan and set it on the stove top and poured the mix into the pan and set it on the medium heat and let it cook the one side of the pancake to a golden brown till I flip it over. I looked out the window to the woods and watched the foggy and some animals run around the side of the woods. Free and not worrying about anything. Just living their life as it is.

Seeing her dad again and meeting Opal and Mrs Pierce was the easy part for Holland. Visiting her mom was the difficult part. Neither of us knew how far off the crazy scale Wanda Pope had jumped, and neither of us knew what to expect of her; whether we'd be treated nicely or whether we'd be her murder target, for a second time in Holland's case. So much about this trip screamed 'Don't go! Don't let Holland near danger!' but I knew that my girlfriend felt that she needed to do this, so all I could really do was be on guard at all times.

As I waited for Holland to sign us in, my eyes darted around the reception, focusing in on a door with a tiny window which claimed to lead to the patients' rooms. So this was where I'd be going, huh? If I ever completely lost it - which was very big possibility - I would end up in a place like this, where everything was too white, too clinical. I didn't exactly know what the people did to their patients here, but padded cells, straight jackets, drugs, electrotherapy and even sedation (Especially in my case) came to mind and they all terrified me. Just visiting this place terrified me but I had to keep reminding myself that I had to do this for Holland, I had to be there in case things went wrong. I just hoped my girlfriend wouldn't plan to come back here often.

A gentle nudge snapped me too attention. I hadn't been focusing on Holland, I had been too busy trying to supress my fear, but now I saw that she had finished filling in the forms and I just needed to read through and add my signature. I did so in a mechanical way, then started rubbing the brunette's back soothingly. "Are you gonna be ok?" I murmured, pressing a kiss to her shoulder - didn't they used to try curing homosexuality with electrotherapy? "I'll be right by your side, ok? And if it gets too much, we can leave." I had no idea why I was comforting her when I was equally as scared. I guess I was just trying not to show fear; it was what I had always done, because fear was a sign of weakness, and the last thing I ever wanted to be was weak.

Y'know, if I ever get married, I think I might wear a suit. Even if I end up marrying a guy, I'll be wearing a suit, too. You go, girl! Fight against the norm! I'm not wearing a girly dress for anyone! And besides, the wedding da is meant to be special, and wearing a dress would kill my mood and the specialness. Fair enough, suit it is! A white suit, of course. Mhmm. *Nods.*

After about a week of being away of gathering blood and hunting for some meet cause well who doesn't like hunting when you get the chance I headed home with a deer and two birds in my bed and the boxes of blood in a cooler in the back seat. Hopefully Macey was just now getting up so she didn't have to wait longer and pace waiting for me. I pulled up into the drive way and jumped out of the truck and pulled the blood out and carried them inside and into my room to keep in my own personal fridge. I didn't need other taking it for their own need. I stretched my arms and headed over and to Maceys room and slowly opened the door. If she was changing its not like I haven't seen it before. "Macey? You up?" I say walking in and closing the door behind me.
