Ok, I didn't think about the fact that Henry would still be old when Sora was old - with all these people staying young forever here it was kinda hard to keep track of who was stuck at that age and who was still getting older - so I was glad that he pointed out and calmed a bit more. As he asked Sora if she wanted to be escorted to the ball, my daughter giggled and nodded her head, letting out a, "Yes please, Hen-Hen!". "And leave me dateless for the ball?" I exclaimed as I reluctantly handed Sora over, quickly taking Micah in exchange for my little girl. "Oh no you don't. If you can't be my date, Newlin, then Micah will be my date... Kinda." Look down at the little boy in my arms, I ruffled his hair, the fixed it until it was near again, smiling down at the kid before looking to the whole group. "So, are you guys ready to stuff our faces with food?" "Yaaaay!"

"Well, actually, now that I think of it, I have two gifts for you, my Queem. First of all," This time it was my turn to pull Elsa into a kiss, because she was always oulling me into things without warning and now I was retaliating, giving her a taste of her own medicine in the nicest way possible. My lips were reluctant to leave her's but eventually I managed to do so, whispering a gentle "I love you." Against her ear before pulling back, a big smile plastering my face. "Second of all," I opened the box in Elsa's hands to reveal the blue and white flower bracelet within. "I'm not sure about ball traditions, but there's a prom tradition that the guy has to get his date a flower bracelet for her to wear on the night so... Yeah... I kinda did that." The smile softened a little as I allowed myself to take in Elsa's appearance again. Wow, how did I get so lucky? I knew that Elsa hated dresses, I knew that she was nervous about a repeat to the coronation ball incident, but as I gazed at how amazing she looked in her dress, I thanked the Lord that I had somehow managed to get her to agree to going to the ball.

Holes, and more holes in this idea but I still don't mind the thought of you and me. I mean, even if its a risk could you imagine it? *smiles up at the ceiling and ruffles his hair* Our kids would be settled, we'd both be much happier, it all sounds really great despite the little pin holes I threw in.

This August is just better spent in Wutai this year, what with Sora's birthday, giving up the throne to dad again, my mom's passing. *Frowns at the mention of her mum, then sighs.* But yeah, it'll be a busy August in Wutai, and then I'll be back in September, is that ok?

School? Ugh, poor you I have another 2 months, roughly so... Yeah... But you should stay away from caffeine, drink warm milk, don't take naps, stop using electronic devices an hour before you intend to sleep and... Uhhh... That should work, in theory.

Actually, now that I think about it, I'm meant to be getting up stupidly early next week for a day out with my family, so I should be getting my sleeping pattern back on track too DX

I know that you're worried I wont return, but I'm not like Isolt, I actually want to be here, more than I want to be anywhere else right now. If you get lonely, though, you can hang out with Anna. She'll be feeling lost without me, too

I know, it's just difficult. My entire life is a series of people showing up and disappearing, and women seem to like leaving when things get serious. After a while it just starts to become a natural part of life, you know? I know you're not gonna pass away suddenly like my parents, I know that you're not gonna cut and run like Penny, and I know that now since we've confessed we have something here that you're not gonna just go like Isolt. I'm just worried, because bad shit seems to follow me around when it comes to my happiness with other people. One month and you'll be back, it's not a big deal. I'll write up my number for you, call me whenever. As late as you want, I'd wake up to talk to you about anything.

I've tried to warm milk thing, I've done the electronics idea, and I've been drinking lemonade since Tuesday for some odd reason so it's not caffeine. I don't take naps either, I can't with everything that's going on. I have to give my dad medicine every six hours because of the spider bite, and I'm just on call whenever he needs me so there's no time to grab shut eye.

Hmmm... Maybe once he gets better try to get to sleep? Like, when you go back to school your routine should be like come home, have dinner, do homework, go straight to bed. Hopefully that would mean that you go to bed early some nights and then you'll be able to catch up on lost sleep.

Ok... *Frowns a little, feeling guilty about having to leave for a month.* You and Micah could always come with us, if you want. I mean, if it becomes too hard, I could get you out on the next flight to Wutai, all expenses paid. You'll probably hate the place - it's boring and old fashioned and nothing like here - and the people of Wutai aren't that keen on, well, anyone I invite to visit the place, but at least you and Micah wont feel lonely then, right?

Even if your kids are grown up, your purpose is to mend your relationships with them, and be nice to your friends, and if you manage to do all of that you can, I dunno, get a job? Find a hobby? For now getting drunk is good but as a long term solution, I don't think so. *Starts steering Giselle towards the kitchen.* Now come on, we have less than two hours before Abby comes home in which we can drink; if we drink while she's home, she might get jealous.

oh, don't be silly. I wouldn't drink all of the time but for now it seems like a good choice. *gets a bottle of vodka, two beers and two shot glasses* what do we do first...

*After getting dressed into something more comfortable in her room and leaving some kibble and clean water for Jupiter in case he wakes up, Abby makes her way to Rose's room. She doesn't even knock, knowing that her girlfriend would be in the middle of a cat nap, and walks right in, crawling on top of Rose and pressing kisses to her neck and shoulder.* Wakey wakey, kitty, I'm home *Kisses her on the lips.*
