Jenna slid out of his lap and just sat facing him for a second. She licked her lower lip as she thought of what to say. To explain why the twins had split up would require quite a bit of explanation, some of which Jenna didn't want to get into right now. She would try to simplify it for now though. There was only so much she could get away with not saying. This wasn't one of those things.

With a slight sigh Jenna gave a quick nod, mostly to herself. She would tell him the simple version. "Twins do stay together. Unless one is a psychopathic monster that could easily kill the other at the drop of a hat." It was the simplest way she could put it. She'd left Tanya to protect her. There had been more to it than that. Tanya had tried following her at first and they got into more arguments and eventually her sister gave up.

Since then Jenna'd stayed away from all people except to feed. She still missed her sister. And she had missed Jeremy terribly when she'd let herself think about him. But she couldn't bring herself to go back. In case she hurt them. And now she was realizing she had hurt them by leaving. It had become such a complex shitty problem. And Jenna couldn't see an easy way out of it. She couldn't just apologize and fix it. Not really.

As she thought one finger absently traced her vampire bite marks. They were the one scar that never seemed to heal. The rest went away eventually but never those two marks. She wished they had...

Roje was in pure tears. She looked down the Hall "Hawk! I know you can hear me! You want me gone!? I'll be gone! FOrever!!" but thats when she was knocked out. She still felt everything, just didnt want to wake up. Someone was carrying her, but then it changed into something that she was laying on. Soon after that it was another pair of arms that picked her up and then soon dropped off on a soft padded floor. she started to wake up, a light shined brightly at her face, causing her to turn on her side and start to wake up. She lifted herself up and looked around blearry-eyes before her eyes had focused. She was in a white room, padded walls and flooring and also a Metal door with bullet/object/fist proof window walls. Where was she? Thats when she heard someone screaming and violently treatning the people outside in the halls. "where am I?" thats when someone answered from the other side 'A ayslem ((I think its spelled like that)). A place for..crazy people.'

And as for the whole marriage thing. A few years ago it was normal to get engaged and even married within weeks of meeting someone. Since back then lives were short people wanted to have as many kids as possible. That meant that by 16 you were married and by 17 you had your first child. The fact the James and Caius have yet to get engaged would actually be abnormal for the time period they were most recently actively involved in. However, since they're gay it is reasonable for them to not get married because of fear of exposing themselves.

And which state is the mansion in? Because if it's California, gay marriage is legal there I believe.

Sorry, I just know about this particular subject so I wanted to comment.
