Christina: I smiled down as I saw the box, some new earrings! Yay! I had been wanting some for aa bit, since the ones I had were from years ago, small silverthings with a small fake gem in it,that looked a bit like a diamond. "Aww, thanks Blade!" I said, giving him sa hug, and taking thebox, about to put the earrings in, but then I found a ring and my eyes widened slightly and my jaw startedto open... Was this hapening or was it a dream or did the ring not mean anything and was simply just a rting?

Waas there earrings in it too or is there just a ring?

I don't think I did. And now I feel really bad because everyone else had to watch that and be annoyed with that and stuff :S

I tried avoid Ryan's gaze but eventually glanced into her eyes. What I saw there was pain, nothing but pain. No words were needed, I understood with that one look that Ryan was very simular to me, having nothing but pain in her life and, although I didn't know what that meant about us - about our... Status -, I pulled her into a hug, hating to see such a beautiful girl in as much pain as I. No woman deserved to be in as much pain as I.

"'Looks' mean nothing." I mumbled, continuing to walk though as we exited the mansion though I could tell that the barrier I'd been keeping up for about 9 months was beginning to break. "Nothing means anything. My mother promised to marry my dad, had another kid, promised to stay with us and look what happened. How can I trust stupid little look in Dylan's eye when not even a proposal or a kid was enough to stop ny mom from leaving? How can I trust anyone who says their gonna stay with me and be there for me?" The side that I hid inside me was starting to break free, the side that struggled to trust because of my mom and her leaving. I didn't show anyone this side because I didn't want people to see how much mom had affected me, I wanted to seem strong enough not to let it effect me, but now we were talking about all of this, it was showing.
