Chloe woke up, early as usual. Thankfully, not as early as she had the past few weeks. Glancing at the digital clock, she smiled at the time, 8:33. She felt some weight on her legs, and the sight of Pippin and Merry, the two young pugs, brought a grin to her face. One woke up, causing the other to as well, and Chloe spent a good five or ten minutes waking up and stroking them. After this she got a shower, enjoying the feel of the hot water on her body. She began to make some breakfast for herself once she was dried and dressed, just some cocopops. She had an interview today, at the same place that Lauren worked. It was at 12, so she had plenty of time to relax and prepare for it. Flicking the tv on, she switched to the dvd port. As Tangled started playing automatically, she let the two dogs sit either side of her as she munched on her cereal. After Lauren had headed off to work at about ten AM, she was left alone in the flat. She spent the time she had alone trying to fit together a song. Her little way of getting through her emotions. She had been gifted with a wave of inspiration after her night of being unable to sleep, so now she was putting words to music.

I'm thrilled! Just because I say 'I guess' doesn't mean I'm not thrilled! It's rare that we ever rp nowadays so I'm thrilled with whatever.

Ok ok.

To say that Bob Mason had had a rough couple of month would be an understatement. With the passing of his wife, but the birth of a grandson, things had been rather chaotic, too chaotic to do much business. It was only now that he was able to return to work and take care of the most pressing matter: Signing up his new superstar. Rummaging through the desk drawers, he eventually found Chloe Astbury's phone number and called it. He just hoped it wasn't too late.

Chloe heard the familiar tune of Go Do from the How To Train Your Dragon 2 soundtrack playing from where her phone was sat charging. She was tempted to not bother answering it, it might just be Sammi or maybe Thorn. Hm. She liked the idea of Thorn calling her up. She smiled and put her guitar down, reaching over and answering the phone not too long after it had started to ring. She didn't look at the called ID or the number as she did so. "'Ello?"

Shaggy: Do what we do best Scoob, eat!
Scooby: It's plastic! DX
Shaggy: What do you care, you eat out of the toilet!
Scooby: So do you!

((Wait, Chloe likes the idea of Thorn calling her??? I bet she likes the idea of Thorn calling out her name in the middle of the night, too 'Oh Chloe! Don't stop!' Actually I think it'd be the other way round if that were to even happen, and it's more likely to happen to Rose and Abby than it is to Thorn and Chloe! Guys, lets not have this discussion >.<))

His sigh of relief was audible as Chloe picked up the phone and Bob whispered a silent, "Oh thank goodness." To himself, though he knew that Chloe picking up the phone didn't necessarily mean that she hadn't signed on to another record company or moved away or something. Clearing his voice, the aging record producer tried to sound more professional on the phone to his potential client. "Hi, Chloe, this is Bob Mason of Bob Mason records. Sorry for not getting back to you - I have been experiencing some family issues during the past couple of months and have been unable to get to the office - but your single turned out to be quite successful and we would like you to produce an album with us, if it's not to late to do so." With fingers crossed, Bob prayed that Chloe would agree to make an album with his record company.

Chloe was quite surprised to hear Bob Mason's voice on the other end of the line. She hadn't exactly been expecting him to be phoning her back; seems like he had been having some family issues. Having dealt with them herself, she knew how hard things could be, especially when it was family. She flopped onto the couch, amazed that she was being called back to actually record an album! Her own album. "I'd love to!" She beamed. She stroked Pippin - who had crawled onto her lap as soon as she had sat down. "When would you like me to come down?" She asked.

I still haven't slept, I'm starting to feel just a little exhausted.
Surely you should, over twenty four hours without sleep. I couldn't even do that on a video game binge
Hola anyway sorry for poofing earlier, I just started cleaning and couldn't stop.

"As soon as possible; whenever you're next available." Bon answered before further explaining, "The sooner you sign the contract, the sooner we can start recording songs and the sooner I can get back on track with my work." Rummaging around in his drawer again, he pulled out a pen and a sticky note, scribbling to check that the pen still worked before asking, "When are you next available, Chloe? So far I have no ther appointments booked so feelfree to choose the time that suits you best."

((*Hears a vehicle pulling up outside and looks out to see a truck pulling up with a horse trailer.* Oh boy >.< 3, 2,- YEEEEEHAAAAAW! *Comes running downstairs and heads right outside.* 1. Ladies and gentleman, Ol' Dusty has arrived. And Dilynn's horse too, apparently. O.o Did that dude seriously just say 'Yeehaw'? O.o Cowboys >.< Sexy as f*** but more in love wit their horses than they are with women.
