So why should you pay for your own celebratory cake?" She had to admit that I had a good point and I smirked upon knowing that fact. For a moment, I glanced at the menu on the board to see how much it'd all cost me, and then I said a quick, "I'll be right back." Before heading to the counter. After getting a cup of tea, some hot chocolate and two slices of chocolate cake, I returned to our table and set everything down. "Tra da, bon apetit, Miss Astbury, you deserve it after a hard day's work."

Holy s*** I just had the scare of a lifetime! I couldn't hear any voices so I stopped to take a look at my surroundings. All of a sudden a Stormguard rounds the corner that I'm on and within seconds I'm face to face with him! It's a miracle I got him before he got me, thanks to some crazy button mashing! I just hope mum didn't hear me swear because I was pretty loud ^_^"

Chloe: In the short few minutes that she had gone I recalled the time and place where I was meeting Laura... Or was it Lauren? I was sure I'd remember soon, I hope. I wasn't quite sure when I was moving out of the mansion, but I kept seeing Charlie, or imagining I do, and I couldn't keep staying there and face the memories that are connected with him. I was also hoping that by moving away, I wouldn't keep having awful dreams related to him. I looked at the chocolate cake she brought and my mouth opened a little. Oh my gosh it looked soooo good! I tucked straight into it and smiled a little, "Oh my goodness! This is delicious!" I said before taking another bite.

"I'm glad to see that the cake doesn't disappoint you, and is worth the $3.50 it cost for two slices." I commanted to Chloe, taking a bite of my own slice: gosh, she was right, this was heavenly! I chased down the moist goodness with a sip of my coffee, then looked over to Chloe for a moment, I said nothing about the chocolate frostng, smirking as I tried to hold back the laughter, but eventually I couldn't take it any more and a chuckle escaped as I reached over to carefully wipe the frosting away with my index finger. "So what's with all the chocolate?" I asked curiously as I licked the frosting off of my finger. "I mean, you've got hot chocolate and chocolate cake; aren't you worried about being sick?"
