And yeah, I guess you're right, fanfic's something I enjoy writing about. Plus, it involves more imagination and creativity and I'm more of a creative person, not an academic person :S

But yeah, a couple hours to do 800-ish words of essay, 30-45mins to do 800-ish words of fanfic! XD

Idk I'm a better academic writer but I guess it's really what comes easiest to you. Honestly, I'm better at remembering facts than coming up with details and such. But I do like some creative stuff, such as rping xD but that's just me. I know a lot of people that are fantastic At creative writing like you but aren't good at writing essays and stuff.

I walk through the front door, unzipping my sweatshirt and pulling off my purple beanie. "God, what a long day!" I had spent all day at working at the bakery. It seemed like everyday we were getting more and more busy with special cake orders. Not to mention all the things we bake daily! Oh well though it kept me busy and my shift was over, I shouldn't be worrying about work. Plus I got to bring home a bunch of new desserts to decide what we'll be adding to the menu, yum! I yank at my hair band, causing my scarlet red hair to fall in waves down my back as I grab the box of pastries and head into the kitchen with them.

Oh god I can see what's goung to happen already in ooc XD *goes into the kitchen, grabs popcorn, several packs of haribo, fanta, coke (2 litre bottles) and 2 cups and somehow carries them upstairs to her room. headbutts the door a few times lightly to get her attention since his hands are full*
