Dilynn: Thanksgiving was... Interesting. I've never been part of a family other than the one made of dozens of children at a foster home so you can imagine my discomfort. I wasn't sure what to do with myself on thanksgiving, so I followed along with Brody's encouragement in mind and made it through. Now I was going to have Christmas with a family too, and all this was getting to be a lot to handle without having a panic attack. Next time I was alone at the mansion I was going to be sure to visit a doctor and get medication or something to calm my nerves, because I have problems. I was seated snugly on the couch, Spencer laying his head in my lap, as I looked up at the Christmas tree before me. Were my parents putting up their tree someplace? Were they still alive even? Or how about brothers and sisters I've never met? I snapped out of my thoughts when addressed by Rachel, my cheeks becoming a light shade of pink. "Uhh..." Brody seemed disappointed, but I didn't want to disappoint Rachel so I'd be sure to make up for this later with him. I stood and walked to Rachel, giving her a smile. "Sure, I'll help." She didn't appear to be heavy, but I probably wouldn't be able to hold her long. "I've never lifted anyone before, wanna give me some instruction Brody?"

Dilynn seemed kinda... Out of it, I guess. I'd have to talk to her later when we had some free time away from putting up decorations, because I was kinda worried. One minute she seemed to be real nervous and the next she was staring into space... I'd have to talk to her at one point, deffinately but for now, "Uhh, yeah, it requires a bit of upper body strength though." I guided Dilynn behind Rachel, moving her hands to either side of my little sister. "If you just lift her onto your shoulders she should be able to do it. I'll help you out so you don't drop her." I smirked little at the teasing, kissing my girlfriend's cheek before focusing on helping her. 'No, Dilynn wont drop me! Only if Spencer gets in the way, and then he wont get his christmas present!' "True, Jesse, hold Spencer back for a sec." I waited until my brother had Spencer held back by his collar before I started to help lift Rachel up.

Oh, I see, so she's kinda antisocial :/ But maybe there's something behind that antisocialness? I dunno, I'm not good at knowing people :S

Dunno, she won't tell me. But what I do know is that she's self concious of a mark on her face. It looks like a tattoo though.

Dilynn: I rolled my eyes and held onto Rachel, lifting her off her feet with Brody's help. I guess my thoughts were someplace else entirely. Where was my childhood? Being lifted up by my brother, placing the star on the tree and feeling so good about accomplishing something. No, I had grown up with twenty boys calling me names and girls staying away from me because I wasn't like them. When I was fourteen things went even worse, and I felt so jealous of this special family I had been "accepted" into. I wish I had a family for Brody to be part of, but I didn't. Did he hold that to heart? I'd never be able to brag about him to my mother or explain what a great guy he is to my father. Nothing. I blinked away the thoughts and drew in a deep breath, smiling for the sake of seeming happy. "Be sure to get it on just right Rachel, I don't think I can handle a round two."
