"It is a lovely little place, James," I replied. "It's just... I feel guilty about living in such a grand apartment when my love lives in a place that is... Not so grand." I would ask James to move in with me but I knew that he would reject it. He never accepts suc kind offers, plus it was far too soon in our relationship to allow James to move in. "Perhaos we could make the room bigger."

I chuckled a little bit, then tried thinking of an idea. "How about you dance at the edge of the dance floor, near the tables and stuff, and I sit down and watch? That'll save you from being embarrassed by your bad-dancer-boyfriend." I really didn't wsnt to embarrass Jenna, but I also wanted to spend time with her. This was going to be harder than I thought...

Kat- "Because they hurt and kill people without a second thought. We're just raw meat to them. So people have to protect them. People like me." My mom had been killed by a werewolf. I'd been in the business a while before that but still. "And you wanna bet I wouldn't kill you?" I asked before putting down my gun and uncocking it.

James- I shook my head. "It's fine. You have no need to feel guilty. I don't need to much space. It gets me caught up too much in my own pleasure as opposed to the mansion." Besides, I didn't have many possessions to fill a larger room with.

I smirk and tap into Kat's mind. 'Theres my little model. Have you been having fun without me. Or has it been boring?' I say in her mind. I was still in the woods more closer to the end of the woods. I was waiting for her to freck or get confused.

"Oh. I see." That made me feel a little less guilty, but still... I decided not to worry about it and instead just wrapped an arm around James' shoulders. "This is better - being here - it's a lot more quiet than the ball." I smiled slightly. "I remember when balls used to be quieter and much more civillised.

James- I nodded and smiled. "Those were the days weren't they? Though a lot less accepting of people like us." I gave Caius a kiss and my smile grew. "Not a single person stopped our dance or seemed upset by it. It was rather nice."

Kat- "But you can live forever! It's not fair to other..." My voice trailed off as I heard the voice in my head. It was the vampire. 'Get out of my head. And stay the hell away from me if you want to live,' I growled back in my head. How did that even work?! How could he get in my head?!

What would be the point of telling Vincent? He was there.

I nodded my head in agreement. "You were right. People of this era are a lot more accepting of same-sex relationships, which is good because it means that we can do whatever we wish to." I smiled and returned my partner's kiss before resting my head on top of his.
