He watched as she cooked. He blinked slowly as her small hands moved expertly. He flexed his fingers wishing he had his sword. Or something that he could hold the hilt of. He sighed tiredly and looked out towards a window in the kitchen. It gave a view of the backyard.

"Hmmm..." she put her finger to her chin and said, "The beach sounds good. We can swim a bit and also get some ice cream." she smiled brightly.
