So cleary I didn't phrase that well, and James was rght, I most definitely wanted it, but it was still a bad idea. "I know, but we should've at least waited until all this chaos regarding Laura's neighbour was over. That would've been more sen-" 'Hey! Maria! You finally checked your phone, huh?' Laura answered through the phone, causing me to breathe a sigh of relief; at least she wasn't dead yet. "Hey, yeah, are you ok?" I answered, shutting James out for a moment to listen to my best friend. 'Yeah, I am for now. I'm a little freaked out but she hasn't, you know, tried to bite me or anything, so... Can you believe it? Vampires exist!' "I doubt she's a vampire." Even now I was trying to cover it up as best as I could. "You know the internet isn't reliable, and someone probably photoshopped the picture to look like her." 'Well, if they did make it all up, it's scarily accurate. And why would she agree to it if it's not real?' A sigh escaped my lips. For a moment I allowed myself to glance at James in the driver's seat as I planned my next move. "I'm coming over, ok? I'll be there in about 10 minutes. Just... Stay away from her, ok? Clearly this girl has some sort of mental issues if she's claiming to be a vampire." There was a pause that made my heart stop, but soon the response came. 'Ok, fine. I'll get out a can of grape soda for you. See you in a minute!' Laura hung up then and, after putting my phone back into my pocket, I buried my face into my hands. "Can you take me to Laura's apartment please, James? You can walk home from there, right?" Oh what a mess I had gotten myself into! How the heck was I going to fix things?

Raising my eyebrow, I took a quick glance at her "I can walk home. But im not leaving if there actually is a vampire involved in this." and this is where I kicked into protective mode. Holt was a human and wouldnt stand a chance against a vampire. Well, Maybe me she could stand a chance against because all she'd have to do is whisper some things into my ear or just make me cave with one of her kisses. The thought tugged the corners of my lips but I quickly forced the smile off my face "If I know for sure that you're safe, then I might leave, but untill then, i'm not leaving your side."
