Derik: I smiled and listened carefully to her, enjoying the company while I sipped at my hot drink. "Min glede." I smiled before in return, introducing myself. "I'm Derik." After taking another sip, I spoke again. "Home can never be beaten, not normally anyway. I live in the countryside, so the city makes a huge change from what I'm used to." I enjoyed the horse rides I took with my sister. "And my sister is back at home, so it's always a plus to see her." I smiled a little, she was doing really well on the horse, it was always nice to see her getting better and building up her bond.

I dunno. It was just brought up in conversation, but it might be outside. If so we'll have other snow-magic people help out. *Pats the seat beside her.* Come and keep me company while my dad chats to the new guy.

Derik lived in the countryside? That was interesting! "That's cool, I haven't really visited the countryside before because I live in the very heart of the kingdom," That, and I didn't exactly go out much when I was in Arendelle. 13 years of isolation and all. "But ever since I came here I've been exploring the forest a lot. I just take my horse out, like, 3 times a week and enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest." I smiled, drinking some more hot chocolate. "I really recommend you check out the forest. I mean, not now because it's cold, and maybe not at night either, you know, wolves, but you should definitely take a walk through the woods on a sunny Spring day." Well at least I was tripping over my words now. Sure, I was still rambling a bit but it seemed a lot easier to talk to Derik now, especially since we seemed to have things in common!
