So last night I managed to dream that James' response involved leaning over and kissing Maria's cheek as well as using some magic, and then I managed to play out Maria's reaction in my head O.o

I also had a OUAT dream. I dreamt that I was one of Mary Margret and David's kids, (2nd Oldest ((I was 8 in this dream)), between Emma and Neal, and Mary Margret was pregnant again XD) and there was this whole debate going on about who would rule Storybrooke next. Obviously Regina was furious about this because it seemed like it was definitely going to be one of Mary Margret and David's kids and not her and I just sat there next to Mary Margret while she fed Neal, with Regina close by, and I just started talking about, if I became Queen, I'd fix the kids' play house (There was this outdoor play house which was pretty popular) and then fix all the other buildings in Storybrooke because most of them were broken. Mary Margret seemed to get emotional over that, probably because even at 8 I was putting others first and wanting to improve the town :3

*Is reading The Indigo Spell.* GOOD GOD, THIS BOOK!!! *Explodes like a firework, then all the the little pieces of Wolfie melt and form a puddle of talking Wolfie goo.* Britt... You must read these books faster! It kills me not being able to fangirl with you! DX

I really do have a new OTP. Sydrian has officially surpassed Yuffentine, Jelsa and even Hollstein!

James might be a laid-back, easy-going smile, but he was still an evil creature of the night! Shouldn't I be just a little more terrified around him? Sure, we weren't in contact - that definitely would be terrifying - but even at such a close proximity I shouldn't be this relaxed!

James shrugged "Its fine with me. I'm not mad or anything about it." he didnt care. Even if she was babysitting him. "Go ahead and babysit me. I wouldnt mind having a baby sitter to watch me. Especially if my babysitter is Holt." he grinned, loving his crazy and risky personality. "Just dont get yourself in a sticky situation. Men out there like preying on women like you." he teased "But not to fear, i'll protect you from those nasty predetors." he laughed, shaking his head "But really, i'll make sure your safe. Drunk or not." he wanted her safe. Even if she was a Alchemist and hated Moroi like himself.

"Oh really? You'll protect me, huh?" To be honest, that comment sounded pretty sexist to me. Did James honestly think that I couldn't take care of myself? Did he really think I was some sort prey? He probably did, actually, which made me tense. While he may be rather friendly, I couldn't allow myself to forget that he was a Moroi, an Moroi - and Strigoi - used humans as a food source. "I wouldn't worry about my safety - I have a few tricks up my sleeves - but how do I know that you're not one of those predators?" I tried to keep it light-hearted - tried to pass it off as teasing - but a slither of fear ran through me. The Alchemists told me I had to keep an eye on what he said, but now I realized I might have to keep an eye on him for other reasons. Sure, James said that he'd protect me from other men, but who would protect me from him?

James nodded "Yep." he said, leaning foward, his head rested upon his hands "Because if I was one of those Predators I would have done something already and yet, I havent. Nor will I." his smiled softly "I'm not that cruel, Holt." he just didnt like when men approached woman in such a way that it pissed even him off. He hated it. Wanted to punch people some times because of that "Clubs are bad. Especially with Strigoi lerking about and looking for some human to take a munch off of." His lips dropped the smile, his expression being blank "Thats why I worry. Especially when it comes to Alchemists. We might be Moroi, but we have feelings too."

Aaand I'm back to fangirling! *Flails around.* Holy f***! Oh s***! I'm dying! I just- Finally! Finally the girl has seen the light! *Giggles and squeals, then starts rolling around on the floor.* I just hope Richelle Mead lets this part have happy ending and nothing goes wrong in the next chapter!

My heart almost stopped at the mention of Strigoi. It at least started beating as fast as a hummingbird's wings. Sure, I had tricks up my sleeve for if we encountered some irritating men, but Strigoi? I wouldn't be able to protect myself from them, even James wouldn't but even so perhaps, if he was offering to put up a fight for me, I should accept it. Perhaps - and this was a miniscule possibility - if we worked together, we'd be able to fed off a Strigoi long enough to dive into the nearest busy club and get lost in the crowds. Taking a shaky breath, I surrendered. "Fine, I'll allow you to protect me if things get really bad." I was trusting a Moroi. This definitely was punishable by Alchemist standards, but perhaps they would understand if it was a life or death moment? Hopefully it would never even come to that.

After drinking down about of my now-cooled coffee, I suddenly remembered something and rummaged in my coat pockets, pulling out a business card. The card was  simple white one with black writing, only stating my name, phone number and email address - I was too paranoid of dropping a card in public to place 'Alchemist' on it. I reached out to James, offering him the card. "You'll need this," I explained, switching my serious 'Business mode' back on for a moment. "Whenever you decide to go out partying beforehand, you should text me and let me know where you're going and I'll meet you there." Town was a walking distance from my apartment but I'd probably drive. The less time I had to walk the dark streets at night, the better.

O.O Oh c***! This book didn't end on a high note, it ended on a 'Dun dun DUUUUN!'

James noticed a change in her body movements. He watched as she snapped out of it and handed him a card. Grabbing it, he looked to see her name, number, and Email address. "Now you sound like my mother when you say to text you where I am." he chuckled softly and leaned back, tucking the card into his pocket "Alright, i'll text you or call you whenever I go out." he didnt mind it one bit. "Just know, my patterns arent all the same." he wouldnt always go to clubs and bars to drink. He'd normally stay in his room, smoking and drinking just to numb his Spirit.

I feel so conflicted! A part of me is like 'Yay!' the other half is like 'Why? Why does Richelle have to throw a spanner in the works when things were starting to look up?! DX'

"Well, whatever your patterns, if you plan on going out into public one night and getting wasted, let me know first. The last thing we need is you bragging about your vampirism again." The important part aside, I dropped the business look and shrugged, picking up my coffee and finishing it off. "And so what if I sound like your mother? Perhaps you need one to control your partying nature? I mean, once or twice is fine, but considering you're low on income at the moment, would it be best to put alcohol and women on the side-lines for a little while?" Plus, if he did that, my night-times wouldn't be as busy. Sure, I'd still have to clean up Strigoi bodies and stuff, but maybe - maybe - I'd have a little down time to immerse myself in a good crime book, instead of having to go out all night with James.

And now that I've read the book, the trailers for The Indigo Spell seem even more feelsy!

And now I see where they've made a mistake >.< I'll just ignore it. It's only a 30 second video. I guess they were just too lazy to do a wardrobe change...

James spoke "I kinda do need someone to control me just a little bit." he said, but when she said that maybe he should cut down on the drinking, he sighed and shook his head "I cant let the drinking go. And no, its not because i'm addicted to drinking." He studied her "Did my file ever say what I specialize in when it comes to magic? Probably not since you guys hate magic." he put his arm on the chair next to him, waiting for her responce. Most likely, they didnt have what magic he specialized in. He drank because he needed to. Just to numb up the effects of Spirit.

I only noticed the mistake in the trailer because it's such a key part of The Indigo Spell and the outfit is an essential piece of that scene and they made Sydney wear an entirely different outfit! DX

"It said you specialised in Spirit." I answered, "But not much is know about it since it's so new." How exactly did James' magic tie into his alcohol problem? It was a rare moment when I didn't know the answers - it was an even rarer moment when the Alchemists in general didn't know the answers - but Spirit was only recently discovered and there were very few Moroi who could wield it, as far as we knew. To be honest, I wasn't sure I wanted to know any more about Spirit, not even from James. Magic of any kind was wrong - no one should have so much power, no one should be able to manipulate the elements - and it made my skin crawl just thinking about it, but actually receiving a lecture about it? I clasped my hands under the table so that James wouldn't see them if they started shaking, because despite my fears, I did want to know how it was linked to drinking, I just didn't want things to be explained in detail. I didn't want a demonstration either, but, luckily, I knew that James was smart enough not to do anything magical in a public place.

Indeed, but a lot of facepalming with the trailers and, well, all the extras, really. They completely f***ed up the characters >.< Their Dimitri isn't even sexy! He's just some creepy looking guy with a terrible Russian accent! DX

Well it is just an trailer. They can't really get everything perfect.

No but they can at least try. I'll admit, they've done better for The Indigo Spell, there's just a few hiccups, but in the earlier ones it was like they weren't even trying DX

On the plus side, I like their Sydney and Adrian (ish). Sydney isn't how I pictured Sydney (I pictured the one on the cover) but her acting's ok, and Adrian looks like how I imagine Adrian but his acting's off.

If they ever made it into a movie it probably would change even more

They'll never make it into a movie They're struggling to make Frostbite into a movie, and that's 5 books before the Bloodlines series DX

James nodded "Thats right, Spirit." he said, still relaxed "I drink to numb the effects. Sometimes, it could get pretty bad if I dont. I've heard things about Spirit and what it could do. But when I found out drinking numbs spirit itself, I used that as a way of avoiding any of the pain that I could feel." he explained "I dont even use my magic unless its nessassarry." he didnt want Holt to feel as if he was going to use magic whenever she was around
