Anyway... NEW YEARS PARTY WOO! Well, I'm going down in a bit, this is gonna be.... AWESOME!!

I hate new years parties. It's too loud and I have no one to really talk to. I feel like hiding away :S

I love it, I get all dressed up and just have a great time And I've grown used to loudness over the years *shrug*

I'm the opposite, as I've grown older I've grown to hate loud places, and crowds and stuff, I think I've got some sort of crowd anxiety :S Meh, oh well. Have fun at the party

Hehe, I don't think it's Britt you have to worry about. The party's moved to the living room and my anxiety's kicked in. Trying not to cry right now... I think it's time to see a therapist...

Ryker: Her separation confused me, but I suppose maybe I was being much more forward than usual. Maybe I should tone it down, though I'm not sure how to tone down what comes natural to me. I sat on the bed and watched her, my arms crossing over my chest. "What sort of project? I mean, if you don't mind me asking. If you don't want to then you don't have to." I stifled a smile and shrugged my shoulders. I'd have to make up for waking her up, but how? Perhaps offering her a date? We hadn't exactly spent enough time together, so maybe that was also the reason she didn't want me so close.

Henry: The quick way, I could handle that. Besides, that meant we'd be able to get up to my room and eat more quickly. I was well on my way to handling this problem with touching her when it was her hand touching me. Perhaps not the same touching I had been doing but it was still contact nonetheless. For a couple strands of my hair sticking out in an odd manner? She was lucky my hands were needed right now, because I was seriously on end. "Thanks... I'd prefer not to look foolish in your company." Where had my sanity gone within the few hours? Ugh, I think I may be losing my mind, and I wasn't sure if it was good or bad. I needed to let loose and have fun but I'm not sure if I'm capable of it.

Getting drunk? That's a pretty good plan, I suppose *shrug*
I think that's what I'll be doing as well, I'm tired of being sober

Henry: If that wasn't a pick me up... I smiled and attempted to give her hand a squeeze, but it left mine quickly. What was that about? "Chatty? If you'd prefer something that takes a little less talking, I can be very quiet as well." Okay, hang on. That didn't sound very good, and I can't believe I actually said it. Though, she had brought up "touchy" and my mind was focussed in another direction. I gave a hard swallow, trying to build up my courage again, and reached out for her hand. Just one glance, that's all I'd allow in order to find her hand and look back to the road again. Once I looked over at her though I wasn't sure if I had crossed a line, because I had a tendency to do that when I was really nervous. I placed my hand over hers and intertwined our fingers, though it wasn't palm to palm like normal just so I'd be able to shift. I lifted her hand and placed it on the stickshift, mine still attached. "Sorry... That was a ridiculous thing to say."

You, Ryker, are a moron. *rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest* Sorry, he's an idiot. If you wanna kiss a stranger, go for it. Just make sure she isn't wasted off her ass because that never ends well. Good luck with the "getting drunk" thing though.

Beig forced to play catchphrase but we're on a break so hello!

Christmas had been, well, eventful at the start, and not in a good way, but it got better once Alix's parents had left. This year I had a christmas without depression, without having to fake smiles but actually having genuine ones, and it was really fun too! I had invited the kids to join us but, as expected, they didn't show up, so me and Alix spent the entire day playing video games! Alix hmseemed to be having fun, too, but... I dunno, I could just tell that she was worried about her parents, even know, about 6-7 days after they had left I could tell it was troubling her... Maybe if we just had a load of fun today, it'd take her mind off of it. Yeah! Ok, Operation Cheer Up Alix was a go! Draining the rest of the blood bag, I headed uostairs and snuck into Alix's new, box-filled room next to mine. My heightened senses had already known that Alix was in the shower even when I was downstairs, and I already had a plan in mind. Standing behind the bathroom door, I removed my shirt and twisted it up a little, waiting for Alix to come out. When she did, she didn't even spot me and just dropped her towel, showing her butt to me. Perfect! She might as well have painted a bullseye on it! I slapped Alix's butt with the wound-up t-shirt, smirking as she let out a squeal of shock. I think I did it a bit too hard though because it had made, like, a proper whipping noise! Oh well, hopefully I'd get away with that by being adorably cheeky. "Hey honey, nice *ss." I commented with a chuckle, allowing my eyes to travel south before they returned to her face again. "Did you have a nice shower? Or did you feel lonely and wanted some company?" Winking suggestively, I leaned back against the wall, grinning at my little game. After having kids I kinda stopped acting like this and I turned into the serious father I thought I had to be, but now that they had grown up I was beginning to find the old me again, the playful, flirty, jokester gamer-guitarist who happened to be cheeky from time to time. I really missed the old me, I was glad that it was coming back, with Alix's help, of course.
