Justin: "My-" It was hard to get used to just thinking things, not saying them, but it was probably best if I only thought this, just because I didn't want passers by to take pity on me or anything. My dad left when I was a kid. He just left without any explaination, so I had to become the man, take care of my little sister, make sure my depressed mother was doing ok, stuff like that... I shrugged slightly, sitting down in the grass and mentally mumbling, Now I have to deal with him every single day, even though he left for, like 20 years.

Annabel: I follow his motions and sit next to him. When he's done with his story, I frown a little for him and figure that he deserved a hug like I had earlier. I wrap my arms around him gently. I'm sorry... that was a horrible thing for your father to do. And it must have been difficult having to take care of your family so young. At this point, I let go of him fearing that the hug would last too long. Do you miss them? Or do you get to see them?

Justin: "I get to see my mom and sister occassionally." I answered, bored of just thinking about what I wanted to say, my arms behind me, supporting my weight a little. "It's just kinda hard since I'm busy pretty often, I mean, I've been visiting more recently since mom's been sick but finding the time away from my duties is just so difficult." Heaving a sigh, I shifted my wieght onto my elbows so that I was pretty much lying back now. "As for taking care of my family, yeah, it was kinda hard. Mom started to get over it after a year or two though so she helped out more. It was still pretty tough though since my sister got bullied often and I'd have to be the one to deal with it."

Annabel: I smile down at him and turn to face him. "Close your eyes and look towards the sun! It makes everything seem better... No matter how bad they seem to be." I guess that was my childish side peeking through. I usually didn't let that happen, but it somehow seemed appropriate here. "Well, the bright side is that you can go and see your family still."

Justin: "Mhmm, I guess so." I did as Annabel instructed ande closed my eyes, focusing on the warmth of the sun against my already kinda tan skin. Within a couple seconds I was smiling again, enjoying just relaxing. "You're right Annabel, this really does work, you're a genius." I grinned, opening my eyes and gazing at my new friend who actually wasn't an angel for once.
