Marlene started to hear a faint voice before it became louder and noticed she was waking up. She groaned and rubbed her eyes "Cloud, what do you need me to help you with? Cause if it's cleaning, I always do with Tifa and Claire even though Claire flees sometimes." she yawned and looked up at him tiredly

And actually, I can't remember what age Marlene was, I just know that I messed ul the ages because I thought Denzel was a lot older than he actually is DX If we kept the age gap the same Marlene'd be 16, but since I messed it up she's either 12 or 14 or so ethig... *Dies.*

ughhhh. this isn't gonna be a fun day. started my monthly, probably gonna be late to school, or at least almost late, it's raining so i will probably be miserable at track, and I'm just tired. Oh, and i didn't put on any makeup so my eyes look all weird. gah.

"Yeah well Tifa's gone for a couple of days so I need you to help me with... Everything Tifa does." Marlene was like a mini Tifa and followed her everywhere, so she must know how to do the housework like Tifa did and how to coom and look after Zidane properly.

Marlene sighed and nodded "Alright fine. But you didnt have to wake me up" she sat up and streched before falling back onto the bed "Did you learn how to cook? Or You havent been around Tifa much when she had?" poor Cloud. He knew so little "Honestly, I dont want to be doing the cookin' while Tifa's gone."

"I know how to cook pancakes and omlettes and that's about it." I smiled apologetically at Marlene before adding, "But I'll cook if you tell me what to do and stuff. And I'm sure Denzel kinda knows how to cook so he can help too." Although I could hear his laughter fron here, which meant that he was cleary, uh, busy with Sierra, so he probably wouldn't be of much help...

Marlene sighed and nodded "Alright fine." she stood up "Wake claire too, I'm not the only one to be wakin' up this morning." she was starting to pick up words from her father(adoptive father? i forgot XD) "As for Zidane, you let him till he cries for you." she shrugged and walked to the bathroom and wlaked in, closing the door behind her and locking it. She just did what she had to do. Brush hair, Etc.

O...K... At least Marlene was gonna help out, I guess. I left her alone to get dressed then, going across the hall to what used to be my room but now belonged to Claire. I knocked on my daughter's door before poking my head in. "Claire, it's time to wake up."

Claire ignored her father but decided to speak "nuu daddyyy I'm tirrreeddd" she said and put her head under her pillow, holding her teddybear with her. Clearley she didnt want to wake up just yet "teddy, daddy wont let me sleep" she told the bear under the pillow

I heard Claire's muffled words and smiled slightly, moving to sit on the edge of Claire's bed. "I think Teddy wants you wake up too, Claire. That way he'd have someone to play with." I told her, rubbing her back gently. "Come on, Claire, wake up. Please?"

Claire sighed and pulled her head from her pillow "okay...Only for teddy since he wouldnt have someone to play with." she smiled and hugged her daddy "Wheres mama again?" she looked at him cutely

"She's in Wutai with Yuffie. Yuffie's going through a... Well, an interesting time and she needs a friend, so mommy went to spend time with her." I ran a hand through Claire's hair and shrugged slightly. "Which means you have all day with me and Marlene and maybe Denzel and Sierra if they decide to show their faces."

"Well, uhhh, I love teddy too, I guess." I rubbed the back of my neck at how stupid I sounded and then pulled Claire into my lap, hugging her gently. "I love you too, Claire, now starting getting dressed and I'll make us all some breakfast."

Claire laughed and hugged her daddy "Okay, Can I have mini pancakes like mama makes? They're so cute and small." she showed him which was about the size of her palm "Zidane can have them too since they are so small!"

"I guess I can try and make them." I shrugged slightly, guessing that you just put a little bit of batter in the pan or something. I set Claire onto the floor and then stood up. "Get dressed now, ok?" I said before leaving the room.
