"Ah, I see." I thought about it for a moment, debating whether or not I should teach my cousin's daughter anything, but then decided that if it were to cause trouble for Sapphira, then it would be worth it, so I stepped out of the way to let the girl in. "Please come in, just be quiet, my daughter's sleeping." Once she was inside, I added. "I'm sorry, but I don't know your name." No one from my family seemed to really talk to me anymore, except Kiara, so I hadn't been told about this girl.

Jenna wasn't smiling. She didn't even smile when I mentioned her becoming Jenna Wilson. A Jenna without a smile was almost unthinkable, and yet I had managed to make it possible. What had I done?! I frowned a little and shook my head. "No, I'm sorry, Jenna. You'll be able to control yourself soon but what I did was wrong. I should've kept you the happy human that I fell for but instead I turned you into a mon-" Vampires were monsters and now Jenna was one too, but I couldn't say that to her, because it would just make her even more upset. I had to make her happy, I had to bring the smiling Jenna back. "Lets just try and act as if everything's normal ok?" In here, where there was no smell of human blood, we could at least pretend that Jenna was still human, not a monster that I created.
