I smiled when she licked my cheek, turned to go into the house. I found myself hoping that Mom hadn't been watching out of the window to see me ride up on the werewolf. I had a feeling she would be less enthusiastic about me going to the mansion if she had.

Cassidy: I closed my eyes, curling up. And just listened to what was around me, random memories appearing out of no where. I could hear, squirrels arguing over some nuts. If I listened hard enough I'd probably be able to head Rowan. But I wasn't going to, he deserved some privatsy. The annoying thing about being a werewolf is it's hard to sleep in wolf form, with the none stop noise and stuff.

After about an hour, I left the house again, a bag and a crumpled tissue in my hands, and looked around for Cassidy. I didn't see her, so I started to walk down the road, looking left and right for the werewolf.

Cassidy: But I did managed to get a little sleep. No way near enough though. I stood up and stretched my legs and back. They still ached slightly. I looked around and noticed someone walking down the road. I realised it was Rowan so I stepped out of the cover of the trees, and sat on the edge of the road.

There she was. I stepped towards her, a wide grin spreading across my face. For a minute I'd thought she'd left me. I stuffed the used tissue in my hand into a pocket, though. Guys weren't supposed to cry, even when they're leaving their mothers. Especially not when they're leaving their mothers. I didn't want her to think I was weak.

Cassidy: As he got closer my tail started wagging. This made is official, he was staying at the mansion now, he'd left home. I remembered when did that, and it was the hardest thing I've ever done. I walked past him, brushing my side against his leg, then turned round back around and nudged him.

Sam: I laughed a little, and rubbed her arms, trying to warm her up using friction. "Snow is freezing. But it's probably worse because we're laid down in it.
