And besides, we only dated for, like two weeks; I'd hardly call it a relationship. *Releases Henry's hand to wrap her arms around it.* You shouldn't let the guilt consume your life - you've got to learn to forgive and forget - otherwise it'll just lead you down a dark route... And besides, it probably wouldn't have worked out anyway because... I don't know... We're really different?

Thats not what... *shakes his head and sighs* I meant that I had chosen the wrong person. I feel regret and guilt because I know I was wrong and that I won't get a second chance to prove myself. That's what I meant, but I guess I'm wrong. We're different... *drops his arms to his sides* When I said that it was too short, I was just trying to convince myself that it didn't mean anything, us being together. Really, it was important to me. It was the only relationship I've had that had potential of working instead of shit from the beginning invading any happy thoughts. *withdraws from her and sits on the end of the bed* You think it's not a good idea then it must not be a good idea.

Oh... *Pauses, thinking things throuh for a moment, then sighs as she sits dowm beside Henry, deciding to be truthful.* To be honest, saying that things wouldn't have worked is just me trying to convince myself that us breaking up before things got too serious was a good thing; it's kinda like a coping strategy. Really, though, I... I don't know, I've been fighting a mental battle over whether to give you another chance or stick to my stubborn word and not let us try again. But even if I do give you another chance, I'm going away for a weel at the beginning of December, and you're not gonna be happy if I go...
