I rolled my eyes a little at that, walking quietly alongside Rose but keeping a little distance between us. "And you're not human, you're... Not normal." Besides, even if you are half human, you're also half blood-sucking monster, so there's still evil in you guys, technically. As for Sydney, I've heard of her, never met her, but word has gone 'round about her. I honestly don't know how she was able to befriend a Dhampir when she disliked them just as much as anybody else." It was really weird, and pretty rare and, to be honest, with the way Rose had treated me since we first met I didn't know how Sydney could even come to like her.

We arrived at the Chinese restaurant and walked in, quickly locating a quiet table away from others so that we could still discuss Moroi-related topics without worrying about people overhearing us. The privacy, however made it seem awkwardly more like a date than if we had sat in a crowded area. On a 'date' with a female Dhampir. Great... Taking one of the menus, I pushed my glasses up my nose, then tried figuring out what I'd eat. I hadn't brought much money with me, but I was sure that I had enough for sweet and sour prawns with rice and crispy chilli beef, heck, I could probably add soup and a bottle of water to that. $25 would stretch that far, right?

Yes, on her birth certificate it is, but if you listen to other people, you'd learn that everybody calls her Abby for a reason. Because that's who she identifies herself as that. Not Abigail.
