I frowned a little. "But, she's like, my best friend, why does she have to leave?" I asked, wondering why she didn't like her. I mean, yeah, she's a Neko, and so is Nate, but she has no intrest in him, well, at least not any more... "She doesn't like Nate like that Tay..." I say to her. Hoping that she understood.

Vincent smiled slightly as Lilly came back downstairs. "Is Jessica asleep/" He asked, his gravelly voice showing a hint of softness when talking about his daughter, the mini him who unfortunately had to put up with the burdens of demons because of his past mistakes.

"She better not, because there's another Neko that likes Nate and I can't handle so much competition." I let out a sad sigh. "Why oh why did Nate have to be so nice and good looking?!" Think happy thoughts, Tay, happy thoughts. Think think think... "Oh! Guess what?!" I asked Nathalie excitedly, my smile returning and growing really really big.

Vincent nodded in agreement. "I'm sure she wont. But, if she does, I'll get up to check on her. You can continue sleeping." Usually when Jessie woke up in the middle of the night, it was Lilly who went to comfort her. Tonight Vincent decided to do something nice and let Lilly catch up on her rest while he cheered up his daughter.

I smirked a little bit at Nathalie's excitement - it was still kind of kid-ish - and then answered her. "We are going to be semi-sisters!" I squealed, clapping happily. "Sapphira's having a baby! And it's going to be cute and magical and tiny!"
((Actually, Sapphira's baby's been born, Taylor just doesn't know yet because it was born the day before anad Sapphira went to sleep as soon as she got home XD

I was confused beyond the extreme. "What do you mean?" I asked, my excitement gone, I hadn't even noticed that me ears had drooped and my tail no longer wagging. It was still and my ears had stopped perking up.

Vincent pulled Lilly closer to him, his human hand placed gently on the small of her back whilst his clawed hand brushed through her hair a couple of times. Vince continued to kiss Lilly, deepening the kiss a tiny bit.

"Sapphira's having a baby!" I repeated. "And because I'm her adopted daughter, that means I'm going to be the baby's kind-of sister, and because you're my sister too, that means we're both going to be kind-of sisters!" I was still smiling until I noticed that Nathalie looked unhappy. That made me unhappy too and my tail stopped wagging. "What's wrong?" I asked as my ears flattened against my head. "Aren't you happy about getting a new baby brother or sister?"
